DESCRIPTION:This talk shares practical lessons from eight years of securin
g automated driving systems\, including robotaxis and autonomous freight t
rucks. It highlights the realities cybersecurity teams face in research-dr

re security practices\, relying on OEM and Tier 1 partners for traditional
automotive supply chain management\, reusing proven automotive and cloud
security mechanisms\, keeping cybersecurity teams focused on cyber risks\,
and shaping standards and regulations. The core message is to focus limit
ed resources on autonomy-specific security challenges while avoiding unnec

DESCRIPTION:The Conversations Every Family is Having – or Avoiding\nLet
’s Talk About It is a parent and teen conversation series created with t
eens\, for teens and the adults who care about them. The series creates sp
ace to talk openly about the questions\, pressures\, and experiences that
young people are navigating today—especially the things that can feel aw
kward\, uncomfortable\, or hard to bring up at home. \nThis isn’t a trad
itional lecture where adults do the talking and teens sit and listen. Teen
s set the agenda and lead the conversation. Before each session\, question
s and topics will be gathered directly from teens through crowdsourcing as
well as from members of Friendship Circle’s teens themselves. These que
stions will help shape the conversation and ensure that the topics being d
iscussed reflect what young people are actually wondering about\, experien
cing\, and talking about. \nEach session will be moderated by members of t
he Teen Leadership Board\, who will bring the questions from their peers d
irectly to community experts. Teens and caregivers will have the opportuni
ty to hear from professionals\, ask questions\, share perspectives\, and l
eave with practical information and tools they can use in their own lives.
\nOur goal is to create a space where teens can ask the questions they ac
tually want answered\, hear honest and relevant information from trusted e
xperts\, and have a voice in conversations that directly affect them. By b
ringing teens\, caregivers\, and community professionals together\, Let’
s Talk About It aims to make difficult conversations feel a little less in
timidating—and a lot more accessible. \nSep23Let’s Talk About It Serie
