 ity of Asylum Bookstore. \n\n\n\nAbout the Author: \n\n\n\nCristina Modrea
 nu is a theatre critic\, curator and researcher at the University of the 
 Arts in Târgu-Mureș\, Romania. Holding a PhD in theatre studies from Nat
 ional University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest\, she is a Fulbright Alu
 mna and the author of six books on Romanian theatre\, including A History
  of Romanian Theatre from Communism to Capitalism (Routledge\, 2020). \n\
 n\n\nAbout the Moderator: \nDr. Zsuzsánna Magdó is the Interim Director 
 at the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Russian\, East European\, a
 nd Eurasian Studies where she manages regional studies programs to support
  interdisciplinary scholarship and public education on the center’s worl
 d regions. A native of Transylvania\, she received her Ph.D. in History fr
 om the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Magdó has publishe
 d articles in journals\, edited collections\, and other scholarly outlets\
 , most recently “Title VI Today and the Future(s) of SEEES\,” ASEEES 
 NewsNet\, March 2026 and previously “Ferenc Balázs\, Transylvanism\, an
