DESCRIPTION:A seven-week online course on learning and teaching the fun

The syllabus has a broad audience\, but this unique cohort invites expe

do before the class. In class\, we will discuss how the ideas in the mater

DESCRIPTION:Arts & Crafts | Exploring Gel Plate Printing: Image Transfer &
Collage \nReady to take your gel plate printing further? In this session\
, we’ll explore two techniques that expand what’s possible on the gel
plate: image transfer and collage printing. \nYou’ll learn several diffe
rent methods for transferring images onto your prints\, plus how to build
layered\, textured collage designs right on the plate. Walk away with new
techniques you can keep using long after class ends — plus a stack of on
e-of-a-kind prints. \nThis class is geared toward anyone who’s tried gel
plate printing before and wants to build on those skills\, but it’s als
o fully accessible if you’re brand new to the gel plate. All materials p
rovided — no experience necessary. \nWhat’s a gel plate? Gel plate pri
nting is a beginner-friendly form of monoprinting. Using a soft\, squishy
gel plate\, you roll on layers of paint\, add textures and stencils\, then
press paper onto the plate to pull off a one-of-a-kind print. No carving\
, no press\, no mess — just colorful\, playful results\, and no two prin
ts ever come out the same. \n📅 Saturday\, September 26\n🕐 11:00 AM

DESCRIPTION:A seven-week online course on learning and teaching the fun
damental elements of Quaker faith and practice  \nThis compelling seve
n-week course explores the spiritual roots of Quaker faith and practice.
The syllabus has a broad audience\, but this unique cohort invites expe
rienced Friends to both participate in the course and learn how to fac
ilitate it in their own style in their own Meetings.  \nThe course is te
xt-based. Each week there is up to about an hour and a half of reading to
do before the class. In class\, we will discuss how the ideas in the mater
ials might relate to our own spiritual experiences. Most materials are ava
ilable to you online. The others are five Pendle Hill Pamphlets that we st
rongly encourage participants to obtain\, either by borrowing your Meeting
library or by purchasing from Pendle Hill. \nThe number of participants
is limited to 10\, so that people can get to know and trust each other and
share about their own experiences and understandings. Due to the limit
ed size\, we encourage Friends to coordinate with your Meeting and select
a single Friend from your Meeting to participate and bring this resource
  back to your community.
