 opular demand\, the 501st Legion- Central Garrison (a Star Wars anachronis
 m group)\, will be BACK for this year’s StarBQ. You will see Stormtroope
 rs and other nefarious Star Wars characters roaming the grounds. Luckily f
 or us\, however\, there will also be costumed representatives from the Reb
 el Legion and maybe even the Mandalorian Mercs to keep those bad guys in-c
 heck! Bring your cameras (and lightsabers) for some amazing photo opportun
 ities. Appearing 5:00 to 7:30pm.\nFor the kids and young-at-heart\, we wil
 l have Space-Crafts\, Science Demonstrations with the UNL Society of Physi
 cs Students \, a “touch a meteorite” display\, and a special NASA Exhi
 bit* in the Kunkel Family Multipurpose Center. Outside in the field we wil
 l have a play area with Blackhole (our version of Cornhole)\, Bolo Ladder 
 Golf\, and our Giant Moon Map. 5:00-8:00PM\nIn the Boller-Sivil Observator
 y you will find safe Solar Viewing from 5 to 7pm.\nOptional dinner will be
  available from Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q of Lincoln\, and other options TBA 5:
 00-9:00pm.\nDuring Dinner\, the Last Minute Band will be playing your favo
 rite Classic Rock. Live music between 5:00-9:00pm\nRaffle Tickets will be 
 for sale ($5 ea.) between 5:00 and 8:30pm. The Raffle winners will be anno
 unced at 8:30pm. Amazing prizes include a ZWO Seestar S50 Telescope\, and

 this unforgettable evening with you. \nFor our Non-Competitors / Tasting J
 udges:\n• Admission is $10 for Adults. $5 for Children (5 to 15).\n• A
 nyone can judge (and compete) including the general public and our observa
 tory volunteers.\n• Tasting and judging will take place between 6:30 and
  7:30pm.\n• Results will be announced between 7:45 and 8:00pm.\n• Iced
  Tea will be available. Feel free to bring your own drinks.\n• Observing
  opportunities will be between 7:00 and 10:00pm. Be sure to bundle up\; It
  may be cold. \nFor Our Chili Competitors:\n• The Chili Cook and their S
 ous-chef  (one extra family member) receive FREE Admission. Additional fa
 mily members must pay regular admission.\n• Primary cooking must be done
  at home\, although “last minute ingredients” can be added during your
  set-up. Table space with electrical outlets will be provided for your cro
 ck pot\, cast-iron pot with hot plate\, or other serving container.\n• O
 nly red chilies (traditional Texas and home style) will be judged. White c
 hilies are welcome to add variety but are not part of the competition.\n
 • Set-up will be between 5:30 and 6:30pm. Service begins at 6:30. You ca
 n set up after 6:30\, but you may miss out on valuable votes.\n• Anyone 
 can compete (and judge) including the general public and our observatory v

 pillow. \nAfter our silent reading time and optional discussion\, our staf
 f will take you on a tour of the facility and once dark\, observe beautifu
 l objects in the night sky through our various telescopes. Even if the ski
 es are cloudy\, you can enjoy our exhibits and astronomy videos in the Mul
 tipurpose Center. Dress warm for the outside observing. \n7:30 – 8:00 pm
  – Gather\, chat\, grab a pastry\, pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea 
 (we’re ok with BYOB too!)\n8:00 – 9:00 pm – Quiet reading of your ch
