 us pursue fun with an enthusiasm that seems almost instinctive. Play and e
 njoyment have been part of individual and social life for millennia. And y
 et\, somewhere along the way\, many of us begin setting aside the pursuit 
 of fun for more “adult” things. Responsibilities matter\, but enjoymen
 t doesn't necessarily stop mattering simply because we have responsibiliti
 es. So why can fun begin to feel frivolous\, indulgent\, or like something
  we have to earn?\n\nFun. What is it? What do we get out of it? Why do so 
 many people feel the need to justify it? Is fun the same thing as pleasure
 ? Why is competition fun for some and awful for others? Does fun need to a
 ccomplish anything to be worthwhile? Can you deliberately create fun? Is t
 rying too hard to have fun the perfect way to destroy it? There are plenty
  of directions to take in maturely contemplating the idea of fun.\n\nJoin 
 us as we seriously consider the lighter side of life—fun\, play\, pleasu
 re\, and human enjoyment—and what our pursuit of them might reveal about
  ourselves and the lives we choose to build.

  After 33 runs\, you are eligible to purchase your P3 run long sleeve shir
 t which only costs $33! \nPints Red Barn offers food and drink specials fo
 r every participant after the run\, including $2.50 Oly beers and happy ho
 ur pricing on food until 8 p.m. Throughout the year\, special events will 
 take place including local pub runs and costume runs! \nWE ARE A RUNNING C
