 nter and ZeroWaste. Roaming Bean Coffee will be on-site. A raffle will be 
 hosted for the most unusual item found on the shoreline! Volunteers will b
 e engaging in a citizen science project to collect data on the trash and m
 arine debris for one of the largest research projects in the world.\n\nBuc
 kets\, bags\, and gloves will be available for volunteers. If you are able

 t Chabot Space & Science Center! Designed for families\, scouts\, and curi
 ous explorers\, this unforgettable overnight adventure blends hands-on sci
 ence\, live astronomy\, and classic Camp-in fun. \nThis event is available
  for both individual public tickets and group reservations. \nThis event i
 s designed for families and groups with children aged 6-17. \nIndividual g
 uests: Purchase tickets using the registration link. \nLarge Groups (scout
 s\, schools\, community organizations): Reserve your space by completing t
 he group reservation form here. \n  \nArrival & Check-In\nCheck-in begins
  at 5:15 PM at the Observatory located at the rear of the Center. Please p
 ark in the front parking structure and bring all overnight gear with you t
 o the rear check-in location. We recommend packing lightly\, as you will c
 arry your items. \nProgram begins promptly at 5:50 PM* \nEvent concludes a
 t 8:30 AM the following morning. \n*Guests may not enter the Center prior 
 to the 5:15 PM check-in time. \n  \nFeatured Workshop: Space Rocks\nDesig
 ned for Grades K-12\n\nIn this hands-on program\, participants learn about
  their composition\, classification\, and observation. They create sublima
 ting dry ice comets\, complete with frozen gases\, dust\, and geysers. K-5
  campers design imaginary asteroid-mining machines\, while older participa
 nts collect and graph comet data and explore mining careers. The program a
 lso covers how to spot meteor showers and why meteors are scientifically i
 mportant. Weather permitting\, students visit Chabot’s historic observat
 ories to meet astronomers and hear about current asteroid research.\n\n\nY
 our Cosmic Camp-In Includes:\n\nCatered hot dinner provided by La Casa de 
 Maria (subject to change)\nInteractive exhibit exploration and themed scav
 enger hunt\nA specialized science workshop (Our Solar System)\nLive Zeiss 
 Planetarium show\n1 Badge (Scout badge or Chabot mission patch)\nTelescope

 cavenger hunt\, and telescope viewing (weather permitting). When Observato
 ry telescope viewings begin\, you’re welcome to head home after visiting
