DESCRIPTION:Are you tired of trying different diets and not getting sustai
nable results?\n\n \n\nWhat works for one person does not work for someone
else--that's because we have different metabolisms. Instead of focusing o
n calories\, different diets\, or exercise routines\, it is more important
to know what your metabolism is doing. Based on that\, you can pick the f
oods that work best for you.\n\n \n\nDuring this 4-week journey led by Dr.
Chiti Parikh\, all participants will wear a continuous glucose monitor to
gain better insight into their metabolism. Each week will have specific i
nstructions on using that information while optimizing your diet\, sleep\,
exercise\, and stress management routine.\n\n \n\nThis session is a good
fit for anyone looking to optimize their weight or address prediabetes or
early diabetes.\n\n \n\nPre-requisite:\n\nA visit with our clinical team w
ill be scheduled where baseline lab tests\, body composition and resting m
etabolic rate testing will be conducted. This will help you understand how
your metabolism is functioning right now and we will be able to track pro
gress over time. \n\n \n\nWe will also review different glucose monitors a
nd apps that will suit your unique needs. Over the counter glucose monitor
s cost $89 for 1 month supply if your insurance does not cover them. \n\n
 \n\nCourse Schedule: 1-hour Group Session\n\nWednesday from 4pm-5pm\n\n \n
 \nSession 1: Sept 9\, 2026\n\nSession 2: Sept 16\, 2026\n\nSession 3: Sept
  23\, 2026\n\nSession 4: Sept 30\, 2026\n\n \n\nImportant notice:\n\nWe ac
cept most insurances. Your insurance may cover the 1-hour group session. H
owever\, you might be responsible for a specialist copayment per session.
You will also be responsible if you have a deductible or co-insurance.

DESCRIPTION:The Art of Photography - NYC\nPlease join us on Wed\, August 1
2 for a creative journey with Barbara Maker.\n\nBarbara is an experienced
artist having been both a former art teacher and interior designer. Fortun
ately for us she is also an organizer in The Art of Photography. She will
be presenting a variety of image genres that display her artistic passion\
, while you enjoy her varied collection of compelling work. The goal with
Barbara's presentation is for you to get ideas you can apply to your own p
hotography and craft.\n\nBarbara says\, "I am a firm believer that eyes ar
e a photographer’s most valuable tool. I try to shoot just as I want my
final shot to be with as little cropping as possible. I also never use a t
ripod but love post processing using Photoshop Elements\, Nik collection\,
Smart Photo Editor and Topaz Studio. My other photography props are black
and white plexiglass and a light board.\n\nAdditionally\, I have a fascin
ation with floral and plant subjects\, but my love for abstract cannot be
denied. I am very interested in street photography\, but have been too tim
id to venture more deeply into that genre so far. I am so glad to be a par
t of this marvelously talented group of photographers - there is so much m
ore to learn."\n\nThis is a continuation in our series of special presenta
tions and high -level educational programming. Our goal is to further enha
nce your interest and knowledge on your journey as a fine photographer.
