 brun’s film Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma. In this meta explorati
 on of the slasher film genre\, a queer filmmaker (Hannah Einbinder) is tas
 ked with resurrecting a 1980s/’90s-era horror franchise about supernatur
 al murders at a sleepaway camp\, and seeks out the film’s original\, rec
 lusive “final girl” (Gillian Anderson) for inspiration. \nThe Museum
 ’s installation will pair screen-used props from the fictional Camp Mias
 ma franchise—VHS tapes\, posters\, merchandise\, and a costume—with a 
 series of movie posters selected by Schoenbrun\, which include Psycho (196
 0)\, Sleepaway Camp (1983)\, and Dressed to Kill (1980). The posters\, wit
 h descriptive text by Schoenbrun\, illuminate the sources the filmmaker dr
 ew upon\, each of which contribute to the genre’s complex representation
  of gender\, desire\, and sexual deviance. \nThe exhibition opened July 30

 centre of Imprints\nof Becoming is the idea of “haptic archaeology”—

 s as both sensor and archive. The artists engage with time on multiple sca
 les.\nS. Emsaki combines ancient clay with contemporary marine debris\, br
 inging geological\nhistory and environmental crisis into dialogue. Svetlan
 a Bailey and Stephanie Hanes evoke\nthawing\, erosion\, germination\, and 
 growth\, while Nina Schuiki works with glass\, wax\, and\nlight to create 
 forms suspended between past\, present\, and future.\nQuestions of body\, 
 place\, and memory emerge through Jenny Calivas’ exploration of burial\n
 and immersion and Marianne Bjørnmyr’s investigation of how history beco
 mes embedded in\nmaterial and geographical forms. Rachelle Bussières work
 s with light and absence\, creating\nluminous photograms that reveal what

  as a theatre and film director\, Zayas began his artistic journey behind 
 the camera. Over more than a decade\, photography became a foundation for 
 a creative career that would eventually take him across New York’s indep
 endent film and theatre communities. Now\, for the first time\, that body 
 of photographic work takes center stage. \nDAVID ZAYAS JR.: SOLO ART SHOW 
 transforms the Tom Kane Theatre into a gallery for an evening celebrating 
 Zayas’ photography\, visual storytelling and distinctive perspective on 
 the people and world around him. \nZayas is a multidisciplinary New York a
 rtist and member of LAByrinth Theater Company and The Actors Studio’s Pl
