 ance of the Q35 bus\, and there is ample parking for cars. This location i

 y Garden. \n  \nTraveling by car:\n\nDrive south on Flatbush Avenue. The 
 entrance to Floyd Bennett Field is just before the toll plaza for the Mari
 ne Parkway Bridge. There is a traffic light at this intersection.\nMake th
 e left turn at the traffic light just before the toll plaza\, and enter th
 e Park.\nApproximately 1\,000 feet down there is a Left-turn intersectio
 n. Make the hard left turn.\n3/10 mile is an entrance in the fence line 
 on the left side. Turn off headlights and leave running lights on and slow
 ly turn into the lot.\nIf you get to the Floyd Bennett Garden Association\
 , YOU WENT TO FAR. (If you are coming from the other direction inside the 
 Park\, pass it and the entrance will be on the right.)\n\n  \nTraveling b
 y mass transit:\n\nThe Q35 bus connects with the Nostrand Avenue terminal 
 for the 2 and 5 subways. Take the bus to the last stop in Brooklyn\, just

 ry in Brooklyn and Queens\, New York\, colloquially called Evergreen Cemet
 ery. It was incorporated in 1849\, not long after the passage of New York
 ’s Rural Cemetery Act spurred the development of cemeteries outside Manh
 attan. For a time\, it was the busiest cemetery in New York City. The ceme
 tery borders Brooklyn and Queens and covers 225 acres of rolling hills and
  gently sloping meadows. It is a national historic landmark that has comma
 nding open area views\, free of glare from local lighting\, where the majo
 rity of the urban night sky can be seen.

 his Saturday to the Delaware Water Gap / Stokes State Forest to see Crater
  Lake and Buttermilk Falls! This time we'll add a twist by starting our hi
 ke at the Crater Lake parking lot.\n\nThe hike will be approximately 12-13
  miles long with a total elevation gain of about 1500 feet. This is consid
 ered a difficult hike\, primarily because of the distance. Only physically
  fit individuals should participate\, though no prior hiking experience is
  necessary.\n\nThe number of participants is limited by the availability o
 f carpool seats. I'll open more spots as more drivers sign up\, so please 
 add yourself to the waitlist if the event is full. If you are willing to d
 rive or potentially rent a car\, please indicate this when you sign up. If
  a car rental is needed\, I will let everyone know\, and the cost will be 
 split among all participants needing a ride from NYC.\n\nThe plan is to le
 ave New York City around 9:00 a.m. (the drive is about 2 hours) to meet at
