DESCRIPTION:Online: How to Live—and Die—Well – A Yearlong Course \nw
ith Amy Selzer and Nancy Glimm \nSundays\, September 20th\, October 18th\,
  November 22nd\, December 20th\, 2026\; January 17th\, February 21st\, Mar
 ch 21st\, April 18th\, May 16th\, June 20th (Father’s Day)\, July 18th\,
  August 15th\, 2027 | 10:00am – 1:00pm ET \n \nIf you woke up each morni
ng with a deeper awareness of Life & Death\, what might change? How would
you greet the day\, your relationships\, your routine? \nUntil we are dire
ctly confronted with our own mortality most of us live life as if it will
never end. This yearlong course is an opportunity to explore what happens
when we bring greater awareness to mortality\, change\, aging\, and the pr
eciousness of being alive. \nWhile contemplating death and impermanence ca
n bring up fear or discomfort\, this course is ultimately about deepening
our relationship with life. Participants will have space to speak openly a
bout their fears\, hopes\, and experiences\, while questioning some of the
assumptions and narratives they may be carrying. Our intention is to crea
te a community of respect\, openness\, and mutual support as we explore th
ese difficult and deeply human questions together. \nOn the third Sunday o
f every month\, we will meet virtually to explore and reflect on a teachin
g of the Buddha. With guidance from teachers Amy Selzer and Nancy Glimm\,
together we’ll look at our relationship to change and impermanence\, not
icing any resistance or fears that come up. At any stage of life\, we can
notice the wisdom that was not available earlier to us. \nThis course offe
rs: \n\nA monthly sangha of safety and support\nA community of accountabil
ity for a daily meditation practice\nDeeper understanding of impermanence
as a teacher\nTools for self-acceptance and inviting moments of joy\nOppor
tunities to strengthen and grow mindfulness in daily life\nHomework and pr
actice sheets to keep you engaged\nOptional “buddy groups” where you c
an share your experiences with and reflections on the teachings learned in
class\n\nWe hope that you join us to cultivate a life without fear and on
e dedicated to the well-being of all. \n“Once the two of us started teac
hing on our own\, we realized that what the Buddha taught illuminated life
and death and that his teachings were embedded in both. Our intention is
to develop a year-long course that will be both encouraging and doable\, s
o that participants will become more comfortable about their own death and
what is possible for them in life.” – Amy Selzer and Nancy Glimm \nRe
gistration:\nPlease register below. If you are able\, registering at the
“Supporter” level enables others to attend at the “Subsidized” lev
el. Thank you for your generosity! (Please note that the registration pric
e includes a base level of teacher support\, and you will have the opportu
nity to donate more after the program.) \nPayment plans are available if y
ou would prefer to pay for your registration in 10 monthly installments. S
imply make your first installment\, and you will be registered for the cou
rse\, and your card will automatically be charged on a monthly basis for t
