 ile holding fast to the traditions that bind them together. Opening on Bro
 adway in 1964\, its universal themes struck such a powerful chord that it 
 ran for a record-setting 3\,242 performances. Featuring unforgettable favo
 rites like “Tradition\,” “Matchmaker\,” “If I Were a Rich Man\,
 ” and “Sunrise\, Sunset\,” Fiddler on the Roof is a moving\, joyful\
 , and deeply human theatrical experience.  \nThis production is directed 
 by John Schultz\, with music direction by Scott Brons\, who will conduct 
 a live 6-piece orchestra. Fiddler on the Roof is based on the stories of S
 holem Aleichem by special permission of Arnold Perl. The book is by Joseph
  Stein with Music by Jerry Bock and Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. It was orig
 inally produced on the New York stage by Harold Prince and originally dire
 cted and choreographed by Jerome Robbins.  \nFilled with humor\, heart\,
