Cars and Caves offers a captivating ble nd of automotive passion\, breathtaking vehicles\, and a unique opportunit y to explore the Chanhassen AutoPlex’s famous car condos. \nJust a short 20-minute drive from Minneapolis/St. Paul\, the Chanhassen AutoPlex is gl obally recognized for its incredible car condos\, and many of our 120 gara ge condominiums will be open for viewing. Coffee\, beverages\, and food wi ll be available for purchase. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable event ! \nLike all Chanhassen AutoPlex events\, the September 2026 Cars & Caves car show is a family-friendly event that is free and open to the public. \ nShow Car Criteria \n\nAll collector\, muscle\, antique\, street rod\, exo tic vehicles\, and vintage motorcycles are welcome. The following car clas ses are admitted into the show area: \n\nClassic cars: Cars manufactured b etween 1925 and 1948 are still in original or restored condition.\nCollect or cars: Cars that are at least 25 years old and have been restored or mai ntained in their original condition.\nMuscle cars: High-performance Americ an-made cars produced between the mid-1960s and early 1970s.\nAntique cars : Cars that are at least 45 years old and are in original or restored cond ition.\nStreet rods: Custom-built cars that resemble cars from the 1930s a nd 1940s.\nExotic vehicles: High-performance sports and luxury vehicles ar e typically rare and expensive.\nVintage motorcycles: Motorcycles that are at least 35 years old and are in original or restored condition.\n\nNOTE: Due to limited space\, we can only allow vintage or exotic import cars. A ll other import cars will be asked to park in spectator areas. \nPlease en sure that your vehicle is clean\, polished\, and free of damage or rust.
