DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nBring your little one(s) to Hamilton House for
a special intergenerational experience where children and older adults can
play\, learn and connect.\nOur monthly 45-minute playgroups offer a welco
ming\, relaxed environment for young children to meet new friends while br
ightening the day of our grandfriends at Hamilton House. Through simple\,
engaging activities\, children have the opportunity to learn patience and
respect for older adults\, how joy is contagious\, and to build social ski
lls while interacting with people of different ages and abilities.\nThe re
lationships that grow through these playgroups make this experience so mea
ningful. By participating regularly\, children and residents have the chan
ce to become familiar with one another and look forward to seeing each oth
er each month. Our grandfriends truly delight in the smiles and energy our
children bring from just being themselves.\n\nActivities \nEach playgrou
p follows a familiar structure to help both children and residents feel co
 mfortable and engaged.\nWe begin with a hello song\, followed by:\n\n\n \
 n\n - Story\n - Simple craft\n - Themed activity\n - Free play\n - Go
odbye song\n\n\n\nEach month will feature a fun new theme and activities d
esigned to encourage interaction between children\, caregivers and Hamilto
n House residents.\n\nImpact\nIntergenerational playgroups boost the socia
l and emotional health for everyone involved by fostering empathy in child
ren\, reducing isolation in seniors\, and strengthening a sense of belongi
ng\, purpose\, and community spirit.\nOur friends at Hamilton House benefi
t tremendously from the interaction with our children. Residents in the me
mory care unit of Hamilton House will have a chance to be around our energ
etic and humorous littles and offer their love and gentle care for them.\n
\nWhen & Where\nJoin us every month through the end of the year from 10-11
  a.m.\n\n \n\n - Friday\, September 18\n - Friday\, October 16\n - Fri
 day\, November 20\n - Friday\, December 18\n\n\n\nPlease Note: We are enc
ouraging participants to sign up for the entire session if possible. If th
ere are only a few dates you can make in the session\, please indicate you
r availability during registration. Signing up for a session helps the res

DESCRIPTION:🚧 OPEN TO EXPLORE: Upgrades in Progress 🚧 \n \n
\n \n If you’ve ever wandered through Discovery World’s Re
iman Aquarium\, chances are you remember the magic of our Caribbean Tunnel
Exhibit\, a breathtaking walk-through experience where fish glide above a
nd around you in all directions. The tunnel-shaped tank has long been one
of our most iconic features\, bringing the feeling of the tropics to Milwa
ukee like nowhere else. \n \n \n \n As Discovery
World approaches its 20th anniversary on the lakefront\, we’re taking a
 fresh look at this beloved space.  								\n \n \n \n \n \n
 				\n \n \n \n \n \n \n
 		\n \n \n \n \n \n \n What's New? \n \n \n
\n We’ve added a new dome lookout for a whole new immersive
perspective.A vibrant makeover with updated rockwork and coral structures.
Expanded tank capacity by 2\,700 gallons. This expanded capacity for great
er flexibility and potentially larger or new species. \n \n \
 n \n What You'll See Right Now \n \n \n \n The
tunnel and new dome experience are OPEN for guests to explore. Introducing
animals into a renovated habitat takes time. Each species must carefully
acclimate to the new environment\, and our team closely monitors water qua
lity to ensure conditions are just right.  								\n \n \n \n
Right now\, the exhibit is home to a stingray and bamboo sharks\, w
ith additional animals planned to join as the system continues to stabiliz
 e. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \
n \n Renovating an aquarium exhibit of this scale isn’t as si
mple as draining a tank and starting over. It requires technical precision
\, structural planning\, and close collaborating between our animal care\,
facilities\, and exhibit teams. \nThese improvements allow us to moderniz
e critical systems\, refresh the environment\, and create new ways for gue
sts to connect with life beneath the surface. \n \n \n \n

\nThese improvements allow us to moderniz

circle got together immediately. How could we quickly rally the forces to
honor this amazing human and show him how much of a positive impact his l
ife’s work had made on the community? The only thing that made sense\, w
as to bring everyone together for Chris’ favorite thing- a bike ride.\n\
nThe slogan the first year was\, “The More the Merrier”. Within a week
of planning and getting the word out- a thousand people got together for
the first annual Chris’ Slow Roll in 2016. Although he wasn’t able to
ride\, the party at Kegel’s Inn was an opportunity for Chris to see how
many people he had touched. Every year since then\, we have come together
at the end of August to celebrate and commemorate how bikes can be the com
