DESCRIPTION:Delve into the natural world through art! Students can explore
\, experiment\, and take artistic risks to discover their own individual a
pproach to artmaking. This class will take inspiration from our favorite
Schlitz Audubon feature: Lake Michigan. We will explore the colors and te
xtures of the Lake through painting and sculpting. We will also take furth
er inspiration from local art legend Mary Nohl and her wonderous garden
of sculptures using treasures found on the beach.  \nHosted by the Natur
e School’s Artist in Residence\, Abbey Finn\, this series of programs of
fers Process Art experiences for children aged 4 to 6. Process Art allows
children to focus on the process of making art\, rather than the finished
 product. It’s an open-ended\, unstructured\, and self-motivated way for
children to explore materials\, techniques\, and self-expression. The Gard
ens Outdoor Classroom will serve as our Art Studio with various stations f
or exploration of materials and processes.  \nThis is a drop-off program
 designed for children ages 4-6.  \nMembers: $25 per child | Non-members:
