 ghted\, a face-painting area (don’t worry\, it washes off eventually)\,
hobbit houses\, an entrance area with five huge thrones that provide great
photo opportunities\, and an air-conditioned rest area. \nA giant turkey
leg slathered in barbecue sauce is an essential part of the Bristol Renais
sance Faire experience\, but they also offer everything from Cornish pasti
es and bakery goods to vegan items and gelato. The number of entertainment
stages now totals sixteen. Comedic sword-fighting\, ropewalking\, jugglin
 g\, fire-whipping\, acrobatics\, chalk art\, a variety of musicians\, and
more. The Marketplace offers the work of nearly 175 artisans and crafters\
; you can find Scottish kilts\, leather masks\, bamboo flutes\, jester soc
 ks\, stage-combat-approved swords\, steampunkery\, and much more. Glass bl
owing and blacksmithing activities frequently happen in the Marketplace as
well as a variety of other crafting. \nTickets range from $40 for adults
to $15 for children ages 5-12. Seniors (62+) and Military with ID are $38.
Kids 4 and under are free. Season passes can be purchased for $225. You c

DESCRIPTION:WMSE is proud to support Jazz in the Park! Jazz in the Park ha
s been a Milwaukee summer tradition since 1991\, and we’re excited to sh
are what’s in store for 2026. Every Thursday evening from June through S
eptember\, Cathedral Square Park comes alive with free live music in the h
eart of downtown Milwaukee. At its core a jazz series\, Jazz in the Park h
as grown to celebrate a wide range of genres — from salsa and swing to b
lues\, funk\, tribute nights\, and fan favorites that get you moving. Prod
uced by East Town Association and presented by Johnson Financial Group\, i
t’s one of the most beloved free events in the city. \nNew in 2026\, Jaz
z in the Park will be preceded each Thursday by Cathedral Square Market\,
beginning at 3PM\, creating an extended evening of community\, food\, and
entertainment in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. The market’s move to T
hursdays came directly from vendor and community feedback\, and East Town
Association is excited about what the new format will bring to Cathedral S
quare Park all summer long. \n2026 Jazz in the Park Schedule\nJune 4: Sal

DESCRIPTION:The past two years have seen a homegrown Ren Faire called the
Argren Faire set up shop on Locust Street\, outside of Black Husky Brewing
in Riverwest. Argren Faire is based on the mythical land of Argren—a.k.
 a. the setting of the Spirit Song Saga by Milwaukee authors Ross Hightower
and Deb Heim. The 2025 installment drew more than 5\,000 folks\; now\, th
e third annual Faire has an official date: Saturday\, September 12\, 2026.
  \nWhat to expect? A lot! According to a press release\, the event—co-ho
sted by Quizzical Spirit Press\, Black Husky\, Grimoire Girls Coven\, and
Tabletop Bookshelf—will feature “even more artisan vendors\, more food
\, more music\, and more interactive events.” There’ll be “participa
tory live-action roleplay (LARP)\, an author’s alley sponsored by Tablet
op Bookshelf\, an aluminum pour with the folks from Milwaukee Makers Space
\, plus the addition of this year of a storytelling booth hosted by Ex Fab
ula\, and participatory traditional dance hosted by Milwaukee Irish Dance
Studio and the Milwaukee Scottish Country Dancers.” Community organizati
ons like Courage MKE\, the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center\, the Urban Eco
logy Center\, and Reproductive Justice Action Milwaukee will also be on ha
nd. \nWill there be costume contests\, beard contests\, “feats of streng
th\,” and plenty of beer? Of course. Are organizers expecting the return
of a mermaid lagoon hosted by Wisconsin Merpod? YES. Is the whole thing f
ree? ALWAYS FAIRE\, ALWAYS FREE. \nPer the press release\, the Spirit Song
books “follow the adventures of the peaceful Alle’oss people of Argre
n who are forced to defend their friends and families against the oppressi
ve Vollen Empire. Their spirit is captured in a simple Alle’oss phrase
—’Ērtsi kalaola’—’life’s colors\,’ which means you must pai
nt your life joyfully with whatever colors you have.” \n“We invite any
one who loves a good Ren Faire!”

 Beer Brûlée 3-8pm\n \n \n \n \n \n Experience the magic
that takes place when your favorite malty beer meets the business end of
a fire poker. The result? A rich\, caramelized twist on your pint that’s
delicious\, warming\, and perfect for crisp autumn weather. Like magic\,
but really it’s science. The flavor change that occurs in a Beer Brûlé
e is thanks to the Maillard reaction – think of that distinctive taste t
hat comes from browning a food\, like a roasted marshmallow or seared stea
 k. The compounds formed during this chemical reaction are what make bread
 crust taste toasty and coffee dark and roasty.\n \n \n \n \n
