 s food artist — whose career began here\, took shape in New York\, and b
 rought her back to build some of the city’s most distinctive restaurants
  — will honor the artists who have shaped Memphis’s creative life\, an
 d whose influence is seen today in museums\, restaurants\, studios\, and g
 alleries in the city and beyond. \n\n\n\nEach menu is drawn from the peopl
 e and places that shaped her work\, and each evening takes its theme from 
 a chapter of Memphis College of Art’s history — the school where Carri
 er\, like generations of Memphis artists\, got her start.  Wine included
