 1971\, Duane Allman played one of his final shows in the South at Mid-Sout
 h Coliseum. They arrived in Memphis on a high. At Fillmore East was burn
 ing up the charts. Six weeks later it all came crashing down. Just as the 
 album reached Gold\, Duane Allman died in a motorcycle accident. Join his
 torians Jeff Kollath and Bob Beatty\, author of Play All Night! Duane Al
 lman and the Journey to Fillmore East\, for a wide ranging conversation o
