DESCRIPTION:Some stories are worth telling twice. That’s why we’re ope
ning the doors of Satellite Music Hall not once\, but two nights in a row
 — and there’s no better band to make history with than Memphis’ own
The Band CAMINO. \nBorn right here in the Bluff City\, The Band CAMINO bui
lt their sound on the stages\, streets\, and late-night energy of this tow
n before taking it to the world. Jeffery Jordan\, Spencer Stewart\, and Ga
rrison Burgess have since grown into one of modern rock’s most exciting
live acts — earning hundreds of millions of streams\, selling out venues
across North America\, Europe\, and beyond\, and delivering the kind of a
nthemic\, emotionally charged performances that leave crowds breathless an
d hoarse from singing along. \nTheir music blends glossy guitar hooks\, so
aring synths\, and dual lead vocals into something that hits harder in a r
oom full of people than almost anywhere else. Songs like Daphne Blue\, 1
Last Cigarette\, and Know It All aren’t just fan favorites — they
’re collective experiences\, the kind you remember where you were when y
ou heard them live for the first time. \nAnd now\, they’re coming home.
\nOn September 4th and 5th\, 2026\, The Band CAMINO will become the first
artists to ever perform at Satellite Music Hall — a brand-new\, state-of
-the-art 1\,300-capacity venue right here at Crosstown Concourse. Named in
tribute to Satellite Records\, the original name behind the legendary Sta
x Records\, this stage was built to honor Memphis’ musical past while am
plifying its future. What better way to christen it than with a band that
embodies exactly that spirit? \nTwo nights. One hometown. A stage built fo
r this moment. \nDon’t miss your place in Memphis music history. Ticket
 s on sale Friday\, May 8. \n  \nPURCHASE TICKETS HERE

DESCRIPTION:Released in 1981 on EMI America\, To The Point finds KWICK ope
rating in the fertile but competitive aftermath of Stax Records’ collaps
e\, when Memphis funk bands were recalibrating for a new era. Emerging fro
m the Stax-affiliated vocal group the Newcomers\, KWICK fused deep harmony
traditions with sleek synthesizers\, dance-floor precision\, and forward-
leaning studio polish. \n\n\n\nUnder the guidance of producer and executiv
 e Allen Jones—architect of the Bar-Kays’ reinvention—KWICK was part
of a wave of self-contained Memphis groups vying for position just beneath
the city’s reigning funk institution. Alongside contemporaries like Ebo
 nee Webb\, Kilo\, Galaxy\, and The Main Attraction\, KWICK helped define a
post-Stax sound that embraced disco’s momentum without abandoning Memph
is’s muscular groove. \n\n\n\nTo The Point captures that moment with cla
rity and confidence—a record shaped by ambition\, adaptation\, and the e
nduring belief that Memphis funk still had places to go.

thing Yes is a North Carolina based jazz-fusion group that grew out of the
creative chemistry between friends who first connected in university. Wha
t started as late-night jams and throwing wild ideas at each other quickly
became a band defined by one simple rule: say “yes.” Every idea\, eve
ry experiment\, every spark of inspiration — if someone brought somethin
g to the table\, the answer was yes. That spirit eventually became the ban
 d’s name. \n\nSpearheaded by drummer / YouTuber\, Zack Grooves\, who has
over 440k subscribers\, the band features Cole Sipe on bass\, Reggie McNe
ill on keys\, Sean Reeser on tenor sax\, and Nathan Graybeal on alto sax.
Everything Yes is powered by genuine friendship. Their music blends jazz\,
funk\, gospel\, progressive rock\, and improvisation into a sound that’
s energetic\, playful\, and always evolving. Their live shows feel like a
reunion of friends who trust each other enough to take risks and have fun
doing it.\n\nAs they continue touring and building their audience\, Everyt
hing Yes stays rooted in the same foundation that began it all: creativity
\, openness\, and saying “yes” to the moment.

DESCRIPTION:Support from Tobacco Road\nHoundmouth is an American rock band
  from New Albany\, In 2026\, the band returns with Lordy\, a stripped-back
\, emotionally direct record that marks a new chapter for frontman Matt My
ers. After a period of creative stagnation shaped by major life changes\,
Myers reconnected with his songwriting through raw\, unfiltered expression
\, largely writing alone for the first time. The result is an intimate\, r
oots-driven album focused on rebuilding\, acceptance\, and forward motion.
Supported by producer Brad Cook and a close-knit group of collaborators\,

DESCRIPTION:Support from Weedeater and BRAT\nThe story of GWAR is carved a
cross the history of this hopeless planet\, but GWAR themselves are not of
this world…Their story begins far past Uranus\, in the deepest reaches
of space\, where the beings known as GWAR were warriors in the Scumdogs of
the Universe\, an elite fighting force in the army of the Master of All R
eality. But GWAR proved too reckless and powerful\, and after a series of
tragic but hilarious blunders\, they were banished to the furthest reaches
of the galaxy\, with orders to conquer an insignificant backwater prehist
oric mudball known as the planet Earth. Once here\, GWAR\, the original An
cient Aliens\, shaped the face of the globe\, wiping out the dinosaurs\, a
nd mating with apes to create the human race. Having accidentally given ri
se to all human history\, the Master of All Reality froze them in Antarcti
c ice where they could do no more harm. It was there they were discovered
by a shady entrepreneur known as Sleazy P Martini\, who sat the band down
in front of professional wrestling\, late-night horror movies\, heavy meta

solo album\, Fallows\, created during a time of rest on land in Ucross\,
Wyoming. Bell hooks was a constant source of inspiration during this time\
, through the following ideas: love as a practice of freedom\, radical ope

ERE\n\nGrammy-nominated record producer Garrison Starr returns to the Gree
n Room for her album release tour! Joining Starr is Alabama-born musician
Kristy Lee. \n\nGarrison Starr is the quintessential musical triple-threat
 \, singer\, songwriter\, Grammy-nominated record producer\, and her soon-t
o-be-released latest full-length album\, Garrison Starr and The Gospel Tru
th\, reveals her at the height of her powers.\nStarr calls the new collect
ion of songs\, “Swamp Gospel Hymns for Humans\,” the next chapter in h
er story of recovery and healing from her Evangelical Christian upbringing
. Her previous album\, “Girl I Used To Be\,” released during the pande
mic in March 2021\, launched her exploration of deconstruction on the path
towards self-love and forgiveness. “Girl I Used To Be” is the story o
f saying goodbye to what was\, and The Gospel Truth is the story of the jo
urney over the bridge to freedom.\nKristy Lee isn’t just a performer —
  she’s a weather system.\nWith a voice that can hush a room one moment a
nd shake the walls the next\, she’s built a reputation for leaving audie
nces both wrung out and lit up.\nBorn on the Gulf Coast and raised on grit
 \, gospel\, and a fierce streak of independence\, Kristy’s songs carry t
he salt of the sea and the smoke of late-night dives.\nOn stage\, she’s
all-in\, every time — no half measures\, no autopilot. Every show feels
like the most important one yet\, because in her world\, it is.\n\nWhether
she’s commanding a festival stage\, breaking hearts in a packed listeni
ng room\, or turning a living room into a sanctuary\, Kristy delivers musi
c the way it was meant to be felt: raw\, soulful\, and unforgettable.

nThe Ted Ludwig trio returns to the Green Room stage for the 2026 Modern J
azz Masters series\, featuring bass great Rodney Jordan! \n\nRODNEY JORDAN
\nRodney Jordan is a native of Memphis\, Tennessee where he grew up playin
g the bass in church and with his high school orchestra. He later studied
music with Dr. London Branch\, Alvin Fielder\, and Andy Hardwick at Jackso
n State University in Jackson\, Mississippi. During his college years\, Jo
rdan joined the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra where he served as Assistan
t Principal Bassist. After graduating\, he became Chair of the String Depa
rtment at the Dougherty County Public School and served as Principal Bassi
st with the Albany Symphony Orchestra in Albany\, GA. Teaching has always
been an important part of Mr. Jordan’s life and career. In addition to t
eaching strings in Dougherty County\, he also taught in the DeKalb County
School Systems.\nDuring his years in Georgia\, Jordan served as a bass ins
tructor at Darton College (part of the University System of Georgia) in Al
bany and at Georgia State University in Atlanta. While living in Atlanta\,
Jordan became one of the city’s most active jazz bassists\, performing
and recording with some of America’s finest jazz musicians\, including M
arcus Printup\, Mulgrew Miller\, James Williams\, Milt Jackson\, George Co
leman\, and Russell Gunn. He joined the faculty in the School of Music at
Florida State University in Tallahassee\, FL in 2001 where he now holds a
rank of Associate Professor of Jazz Studies. Jordan teaches jazz bass\, ja
zz combo playing\, music education classes\, and a jazz styles class.\n\nJ
ordan joined the Marcus Roberts Trio in 2009. It was evident during that f
irst official performance of the newly-formed trio at the prestigious Wigm
ore Hall in London that Jordan thoroughly understood Roberts’ unique tri
o conception. Rodney Jordan is one of the most versatile jazz bassists on
the scene today. His tone is rich and soulful when he plays hauntingly bea
utiful phrases with the bow. Just as readily\, he plays fast virtuosic pas
sages with apparent effortless skill. Jordan’s knowledge of harmony from
his classical bass training combined with the relentless feeling of swing
in his playing is a perfect fit for the powerful melodic\, blues-based\,
syncopated improvisational sound of the Marcus Roberts Trio.
