DESCRIPTION:The Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival is one of the most cherish
ed annual traditions in the Louisville area\, transforming historic downto
wn Jtown into a vibrant hub of community celebration every September. Host
ed by the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce\, what began in 1969 as a mode
st street rally has grown into a multi-day extravaganza drawing roughly 20
0\,000 visitors. The festival spans a full week packed with events\, inclu
 ding a 5K road race\, a popular golf scramble\, live entertainment\, and a
bustling parade featuring local bands\, floats\, and civic organizations.
\n  \nAt the heart of the celebration is the weekend arts and crafts fai
r\, where historic Gaslight Square shuts down to vehicular traffic to acco
mmodate hundreds of local and regional vendors\, food booths\, and civic d
isplays. Visitors can browse handmade crafts\, sample classic festival foo
d\, and enjoy live music across multiple stages. Beyond being a staple of
fall fun\, the Gaslight Festival serves as a crucial showcase for local bu
sinesses\, charities\, and community spirit\, perfectly capturing the smal
 l-town charm that defines Jeffersontown.

for. As the sun sets over Old Louisville’s gaslit streets\, our expert
storyteller will guide you through two centuries of restless spirits\, hau

part true crime — every tale grim\, and every tale true. \nBook your tou

ride begins in the Victorian heart of Old Louisville — long whispered t
o be America’s most haunted neighborhood — before winding through the
Highlands and into the heart of Downtown\, with a stop along the way for a
drink at one of the city’s own haunted haunts. \nUnder all of her grand
eur\, Derby City hides her darkest secrets in plain sight. Hop on\, if you
  dare. \nWhat’s included\nTransportation aboard a historic trolley \nNar
ration from an expert local Ghost Host and tour guide \nSpine-tingling tal

you meet one\, please let us know) \nItinerary\nOn your 2-hour haunted jou
rney\, you’ll ride between neighborhoods aboard your haunted trolley\, h
opping off with your guide to walk the very streets\, sidewalks\, and shad
owed corners where these stories took place. \nStart in Old Louisville\, A
merica’s most haunted neighborhood: Begin on an eerily quiet court in Am
erica’s largest Victorian neighborhood\, where you’ll hear tales of ma
nsions hiding dark secrets\, quiet inns where phantom residents are said t
o still linger behind lace curtains\, and a butcher who met the gallows sw
earing his innocence. \nHop on the Haunted Trolley: Take a ride through Lo
uisville’s historic streets aboard a lantern-lit trolley and hear the ho
rrifying tale of the deadliest train wreck in Kentucky history\, whose pas
sengers some say never departed. Let’s hope they’re not still on board
with us…. \nThe Historic Highlands: Head back in time to a Victorian ne
ighborhood a half-century older than Old Louisville\, to a graveyard where
the dead were buried atop the dead\, names lost to time and bodies stolen
and mutilated. \nStop for Spirits: Pause for a drink at one of Louisville
’s own haunted haunts before continuing deeper into the city’s darkest
history. \nMake Your Way Downtown: Wind through the city’s haunted hear
 t. Here you’ll find a luxurious hotel where a bride in blue never checke
d out and traverse streets that once ran with floodwater so deep that the
bodies of the drowned floated right up against the cast-iron facades and w
indows above. Nearby\, the ashes of a deadly hotel fire still cling to the
ground where it once stood. \n\nThis tour is made possible by an exclusiv

 worldly\, unearthly\, dream-draped . . . a whisper of story\, suggests of
fairytale and time travel\, but what makes Mark Jenkin’s films adhesive
is exacting technique. Story is elusive\, but the fragments\, the instants
  are concrete.”—Ray Pride\, Newcity \nWeaving a hypnotic tapestry of
bold analogue imagery\, spellbinding storytelling\, and mesmeric sound\,
Rose of Nevada reinforces Mark Jenkins as a uniquely singular directorial
voice. \nIn a forgotten fishing village\, a boat mysteriously appears in
the old harbor. The Rose of Nevada\, lost at sea with all hands 30 years a
go\, has returned.  For the few who remember\, it’s a sign. The Rose of
Nevada must go out to sea again\, maybe then the luck of the devastated v
illage will turn. \nNick (George MacKay) takes a job aboard the boat to pr
ovide for his young family. Alongside him\, newly arrived Liam (Callum Tur
ner) joins the crew\, desperate to escape his past. They head to sea and a
fter a successful trip return to harbor. But something is amiss. They’ve
slipped back in time\, and the villagers greet them as if they are the or
 iginal crew. 2025\, U.K.\, 35mm\, 114 minutes. Recommended for 16+

DESCRIPTION:Venture under the cover of darkness aboard one of our vintage
trolleys to find the side of Bourbon City that many are too afraid to look
for. As the sun sets over Old Louisville’s gaslit streets\, our expert
storyteller will guide you through two centuries of restless spirits\, hau

part true crime — every tale grim\, and every tale true. \nBook your tou

Highlands and into the heart of Downtown\, with a stop along the way for a
drink at one of the city’s own haunted haunts. \nUnder all of her grand
eur\, Derby City hides her darkest secrets in plain sight. Hop on\, if you
  dare. \nWhat’s included\nTransportation aboard a historic trolley \nNar

you meet one\, please let us know) \nItinerary\nOn your 2-hour haunted jou
rney\, you’ll ride between neighborhoods aboard your haunted trolley\, h
opping off with your guide to walk the very streets\, sidewalks\, and shad
owed corners where these stories took place.
Nearby\, the ashes of a deadly hotel fire still cling to the

on Lecture series\nFree\, registration required \nFeaturing: Lindsy Parrot
t\, Director of the Neustadt Collection of Tiffany\nTiffany Lamps: Innovat
 ion\, Desire\, and Imitation \nREGISTER\nAmerican artist Louis C. Tiffany
’s colorful lamps debuted in 1898 and were an immediate sensation: the a
rtistic glass shades and elaborate bronze bases elevated these lighting fi
xtures to illuminated works of art. This lecture will trace the rise\, fal
l\, and revival of public interest in Tiffany lamps across the 20th centur
y and consider the reproductions and forgeries that sprang up as the value
of the lamps increased. It’s a fascinating story of innovation\, desire
\, and imitation that casts a new light on these beloved lamps. \nAbout Li
ndsy R. Parrott: \nLindsy R. Parrott is the Executive Director and Curator
at The Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass based in Queens\, New York. D
uring her 23 years at The Neustadt\, her research has centered on Tiffany
 ’s lamps\, windows\, and mosaics. Working with The Neustadt’s one-of-a
-kind Tiffany Glass Archive\, which includes approximately a half a millio
n examples of opalescent sheet glass and glass jewels\, she investigates h
ow American artists used these pioneering materials to revolutionize the c
enturies-old art form of stained glass. Lindsy has co-curated significant
Tiffany exhibitions\, including Tiffany’s Glass Mosaics (2017)\, organiz
ed in partnership with the Corning Museum of Glass\, and Louis C. Tiffany
and the Art of Devotion (2012\, Museum of Biblical Art\, NYC). The accompa
nying publications for both exhibitions received excellence awards from th
e Victorian Society. Lindsy’s current projects include co-curating the T
he Neustadt’s traveling exhibition Tiffany or Ti-phony? A Story of Desir
e\, which examines the rise\, fall\, and revival of Tiffany lamps and the
forgeries they inspired. She is also a member of a stained-glass team surv
eying some 1\,200 windows at the Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx\, New York
—the largest survey of stained glass ever undertaken in America. \nLinds
y earned her MA in the History of Decorative Arts through Parsons School o
f Design/The Smithsonian in Washington\, DC. She serves on the Board of Di
rectors for the Art Glass Forum | New York. Early in her career\, she work
ed at the Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park\, Florida\, an insti

rs \n“Beyond just telling the story of the life of a trailblazing lesbia
n filmmaker\, the documentary is an intimate portrait of a fascinating and
indomitable woman who treated life as the ultimate adventure.”—Aviva
Dove-Viebahn\, Ms. Magazine \nBarbara Forever is an expansive\, immersiv
e\, exploration of the life\, work\, and ongoing cultural impact of filmma
ker Barbara Hammer—a pioneering artist who lived boldly\, created urgent
ly\, and transformed cinema through her singular vision. \nHer films were
an extension of herself: sensual\, experimental\, and unapologetically les
bian rooted in a profound desire for connection and an insistence on telli
ng her own story. \nDriven by her canon of over eighty films\, a vast coll
ection of unreleased archival materials\, and extensive audio interviews\,
director Brydie O’Connor’s portrait allows for Hammer’s voice and i
mages to shine through\, becoming both a tribute and an extension of her l
 egacy.  A selection of the Sundance Film Festival. 2026\, U.S.\, DCP\, 10
 2 minutes. Recommended for 16+
