DESCRIPTION:What IS a glaze? Learn about the basic structure and the funct
 ion that a glaze provides over a ceramic surface. \nThe discussions and de
 monstrations during this workshop will cover glaze application techniques\
 , problem-solving\, and making test tiles. Please bring your questions\, a
  notepad\, and a pen or pencil to the workshop. \nStudents can bring up to
  five pieces of personal bisqueware to glaze during this workshop. Bisquew
 are test tiles will be provided to students for learning and practicing gl
 azing. \n\nThe Windgate Art School is generously supported by the Windgate
  Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of Georg
 e Worthen. \nThe Windgate Art School’s Reduced Tuition Program is suppor
 ted by Michael Laughter. Reduced tuition is automatically applied to all c
