 ship with Future Caucus \n  \n\n  \nLayla Zaidane is President & CEO of 
 Future Caucus\, the largest nonpartisan organization of young lawmakers in
  the United States. A nationally recognized expert on youth engagement\, L
 ayla was named to the TIME100 NEXT list\, and was a recipient of the McNul
 ty Prize in 2025. Before joining Future Caucus\, she served as the Managin
 g Director for Generation Progress\, where she led integrated communicatio
 ns\, policy\, and advocacy efforts around solutions to the challenges faci
 ng today’s youth\, and spearheaded innovative new global youth engagemen
 t efforts. In 2014\, she helped launch and manage the It’s On Us campaig
 n in partnership with the White House\, and in 2013\, launched the Higher 
 Ed\, Not Debt campaign – a coalition of dozens of organizations working 
 to make higher education accessible and affordable for all. Layla graduate
 d from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and holds a BSF
 S in international politics. She’s currently a Fellow of the Civil Socie
 ty Fellowship\, and is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. \n
 State Representative Beau Baird (R-IN) represents House District 44\, serv
 ing all of Putnam County and portions of Montgomery County. He is Chair of
  the Indiana House Environmental Affairs Committee\, serves on the House A
 griculture and Rural Development Committee and the House Rules and Legisla
 tive Procedures Committee\, and is the Republican Co-Chair of the Indiana 
 Future Caucus. A lifelong resident of Putnam County\, Baird also serves as
  Chairman of the Putnam County Republican Party. Outside the legislature\,
  he owns and operates Baird Ranch\, one of Indiana’s largest American Qu
 arter Horse breeding operations\, manages his family’s agricultural and 
 commercial real estate interests\, and serves on the Board of Directors of

 nd CEO of In Pursuit\, an ambitious history-based nonpartisan civics initi
 ative that is identifying the most insightful and timeless lessons from th
 e past 250 years of American history. She also currently serves as a Senio
 r Practitioner Fellow at the Miller Center at the University of Virginia. 
 Shogan was recognized at the Dole Institute’s Elizabeth Dole Women in Le
 adership Lecture in early 2026. \nJ.T. Jezierski\, a native of Weirton\, W
 V\, serves as chief of staff to Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV). He ha
 s served in various roles in Senator Capito’s office\, including Legisla
 tive Director and Director of Appropriations. Prior to his time in Senator
  Capito’s office\, Jezierski worked for Reps. David McKinley (R-WV)\, an
 d on the Congressional campaign of Evan Jenkins (R-WV). In the U.S. House 
 of Representatives\, Jezierski worked for Rep. Pete Olson (R-TX) and the H
 ouse Science\, Space\, and Technology Committee. He also served in the Geo
 rge W. Bush administration at the White House Office of Presidential Perso
 nnel\, and at NASA. Jezierski worked on Mitt Romney’s 2008 and 2012 camp
 aigns\, and at DCI Group.
