 uilt in 1916 by self taught African American architect Joseph Haygood Blod
 gett\, and is one of the last standing commercial buildings Blodgett desig
 ned in the city.  \nJust a block from historic LaVilla’s culture\, ente
 rtainment and business corridors and just across the street from Old Stant
 on\, we’re imagining a future that builds from LaVilla’s vibrant past.
