 ce has drawn comparisons to the iconic Julianna Hatfield\, the band crafts

 e Bridge: Calm Calm: Monthly Sound Bath is located at the green space on t
 he west bank of the Downtown Canal\,  just north of the Orange Bridge\, w
 here the Indianapolis Cultural Trail crosses the Downtown Canal. It is dir
 ectly across the Canal from the Colts Canal Playspace. Walk or bike using 
 the Indianapolis Cultural Trail or Downtown Canal. Bike parking is located
  off the Indianapolis Cultural Trail\, just south of the Colts Playspace a
 nd there is also Pacers Bikeshare station on the Canal between the Playspa
 ce and the fountain.  Paid and unpaid street parking is located on Senat
 e Ave.\, as well as nearby on North St.\, 9th St\, and Capitol Ave. We rec
 ommend  using the Parkmobile App. There are several transit stops a few b
 locks away\, including the Red and Purple lines.

  family-friendly bike ride designed for all ages and abilities. These mont
 hly rides are all about building confidence on bikes\, discovering how fam
 ily-friendly and bikeable the city can be\, and connecting with other bike
 -minded families. It’s a great way to burn off energy\, spark a little a
 dventure\, and make lasting memories—one ride at a time. \nEvery 2-2.5 h
 our ride will show how to safely navigate the Indianapolis Cultural Trail 
 and adjoining greenways while highlighting some playful stops- like a play
 ground\, splashpad or family-friendly attraction- along the way to keep ki
 ds engaged. Pedal & play is offered on May 16\, June 20\, July 18\, August
  15\, and September 19 at 10 AM. The ride is FREE\, but registration on Ev
 entbrite is required. Whether riding independently or with an adult\, it
 ’s a great way for families to explore downtown by bike! \nBiking Option
 s\nBring Your Own Bike: Children are welcome on their parents bikes via bi
 ke seats\, trailers\, tagalongs\, or cargo bikes. Kids riding their own bi
 kes should be able to ride 3–10 miles with stops to rest and follow both
  trail etiquette and traffic laws under adult supervision. Helmets for all

DESCRIPTION:Looking for a fun and educational family activity this summer 
 that’s FREE? \nTake stargazing to new heights by escaping the light poll
 ution of the city and heading to McCloud Nature Park\, where thousands of 
 stars twinkle like jewels in the dark night sky! \nThe Indiana Astronomica
 l Society partners with Park Naturalists to hold sky seminars and viewings
  at McCloud on the Saturday nights listed below. These programs\, led by e
 xpert sky watchers\, are geared for the novice astronomer. \nTelescopes la
 rge and small will be set up for your use. Each evening will begin with a 
 brief informational session (“sky seminar”) in the Nature Center where
  you will learn which planets and constellations will be visible that nigh
 t. These seminars last about 30 minutes and are best suited for ages 8 and
  older. Outdoor sky-viewing will begin following the seminars. \nIMPORTANT
  NOTE: Sky seminars will take place rain or shine\, but sky viewings are d
 ependent upon clear skies. If poor weather is forecast or any severe weath
 er advisories are issued\, the sky-viewing portion of the program will be 
 canceled. \nAll Astronomy programs are held on Saturdays at McCloud Nature
  Park. They are FREE to attend\, appropriate for all ages\, and no advance

 most scenic views. \nHIIT IT on the Canal is led by José Leigh of Wiñay
  Kallpa. Class is FREE\, but a waiver is required. Grab your yoga mat\, br

 : Workout will be located just steps off the Indianapolis Cultural Trail\,
  by the Orange Bridge on the west side of the Downtown Canal. The closest 
 address is 402 W. Walnut St. Plan to walk or ride on the Downtown Canal or
  Indianapolis Cultural Trail to get here. Bike parking is located on the n
 orth side of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail near the Colts Canal Playspac
 e\, just east of the bridge. A Pacers Bikeshare Station is conveniently lo
 cated on the Canal near the Playspace as well. There is both free and paid
  street parking nearby along Senate Ave. as well as paid street parking on
  Capitol Ave.\, 9th St. and North St. Multiple transit lines\, including t
 he Red and Purple Lines\, are also just a few blocks away on Capitol Ave.
