It was also included in the final short-list f or recognition in UNESCO Memory of the World (2025). \nDirected by Louis L entin\, Dear Daughter centres on survivor and campaigner Christine Buckle y\, who recounts her childhood in Goldenbridge Industrial School and her d etermined search for her parents. First broadcast in 1996\, it was the fir st televised documentary to expose the abuse of children in Ireland’s in dustrial schools and played a significant role in bringing survivors’ ex periences into public consciousness. \nThe screening will be followed by a discussion featuring Christine’s daughter\, Clíona Buckley\, chaired b y Dr Sarah-Anne Buckley.
