 Each September\, the community gathers at Lake Boren Park for Newcastle Da
 ys\, the city’s signature celebration. This free festival is packed with
  activities\, food\, games\, and music\, and is held in September to honor

 ing furry friends at the petting zoo\, and enjoying pony rides. Try your l
 uck at carnival games hosted by local Scouts\, check out fire trucks\, and
  stop by the Newcastle Cemetery open house for a peek into the past. It’
 s a day full of adventure\, creativity\, and community fun! \n\n\n\nPLEASE
  NOTE: bicycles\, scooters\, and skateboards (electric and non-electric) w
 ill not be permitted in the park due to heavy pedestrian traffic. Temporar
 y racks will be available at entrances for those biking or riding to the e
 vent. Wheelchairs and other assistive mobility devices are always welcome.
