 oples’ fascination with food. \nFrom the 150-year-old pickle that reside
 s in a Washington museum\, to the foods found buried with mummies\, and ev
 en the petrified banana that sparked a Banana Museum\, discover why certai
 n kinds of very old food still grip our imagination.\nWhy are some foods i
 ntentionally tucked away or preserved due to unusual\, unintentional\, or 
 special circumstances? In this talk\, hear and share stories of how these 
 and other vintage vittles hold memories\, tell stories\, and connect us wi
 th family\, culture\, and history. \nThis event is made possible through t

 velopment. Co-founder Harry Turner previously appeared in the Emmy-winning
  Amazon documentary Wildcat\, which followed his earlier wildlife conserva

 , a silent auction\, and live pet portrait painting by Seattle artist Dozf
 y—all while helping protect one of the most biodiverse places on Earth.
