DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Cellar Talks \nAn intimate evening with a visiting
voice or maker. We start with a perspective\, then open the table to conve
 rsation\, wine\, and ideas worth lingering over. \nThis month\, we’re pa
iring our Cellar Talks with our monthly book club selection\, Like Water f
or Chocolate. We feel that the exquisite love story of the Allelon Chocola
te founders and their beautiful confections is a wonderful accompaniment t
o this iconic book by Laura Esquivel. Join us for both events! \nRESERVE Y
OUR SEATS \nSebastian and Nica join Cellar Talks for an evening centered o
 n chocolate\, craft\, and conversation. \nJoin us for a comprehensive talk
with the founders of Allelon Chocolate about their chocolate production f
rom bean to bar. They’ll discuss terroir and tempering\, and then move t
o a brief tasting of single origin chocolate concluding with their own che
f-inspired confections. \nAbout the founders and chocolatiers: \nDominica
and Sebastian Falcon met in pastry school in 2008\, where they fell in lov
e with chocolate and one another. Since then\, they’ve worked in some of
America’s most celebrated restaurants (The HerbFarm\, Gramercy Tavern\,
Canils) and with world-class chocolatiers (Gustaf Mabrok\, Christopher El
bow). \nThey arrived in Seattle in 2010 after graduating from the Culinary
Institute of America\, NY. While developing their culinary perspective\,
they also spent over half a decade in vocational ministry\, creating space
for fellowship and the exploration of faith over meals. \nTheir passion f
or guests to experience deep connection between one another over soulful\,
wholesome and excellent food gave birth to Allelon Chocolate in 2023. All
elon (pronounced al-lay’-lone) translates to “one-another” in New Te
stament Greek. This single word powerfully communicates the relational rec
iprocity between individuals. Sebastian and Dominica aim for their product
to foster connection at your table.
