DESCRIPTION:This consultation seeks your views on various proposed changes
to registration requirements which will further strengthen the SSSC’s (
Scottish Social Services Council) ability to deliver their public protecti
on functions. These changes are: \n\nmandating the registration of three n
ew groups of social service workers with the SSSC\, following findings fro
m the SSSC’s consultation on New Registered Groups. These groups are s
ocial work assistants\, workers in adult day care services and workers in
offender accommodation services. This will mean that anyone working as a s
ocial work assistant\, worker in adult day care services or worker in offe
nder accommodation services in Scotland will have to be registered with th
e SSSC.\nmandating that all social workers working in Scotland are registe
red with the SSSC\nupdating the list of organisations which a social servi
ce worker can be registered with\, which excludes them from the requiremen
t to be registered with the SSSC.\n\nMore information can be found here:

DESCRIPTION:The Edinburgh City Council would like your proposals and ideas
to help shape Edinburgh’s next local development plan – City Plan 204
 0. \nThe Plan will help guide development and set the direction for how pl
aces across the city will grow\, change and be protected over the coming y
ears. \nThis is an opportunity for you to help the council shape the visio
n\, priorities and early proposals for the Proposed Plan. \nThis consultat
ion builds on their earlier ‘what makes a good place?’ engagement and
the ‘place and play’ engagement for children and young people. These h
elped them to put together the Evidence Report which was the first stage o
f preparing City Plan 2040. The feedback from those consultations is still
