 h\, and resilience. This unique event centers on Zoltán Kodály's powerfu
 l Missa Brevis\, one of the twentieth century's most significant sacred ch
 oral works\, composed amid the turmoil of World War II. The program explor
 es the extraordinary connection between Kodály and Sister Constantina Kak
 onyi\, a Hungarian artist who later made her home at St. Scholastica. Audi
 ences will have the rare opportunity to view a first-edition score of Miss
 a Brevis acquired by the College of St. Scholastica\, featuring original c
 over artwork created by Sister Constantina and signed by Kodály himself. 
 Through a live performance of Missa Brevis\, an exhibition of Sister Const
 antina's artwork\, and engaging historical interpretation\, this event bri
 ngs to life the stories of two Hungarian artists whose work was shaped by 
 war\, faith\, and hope. Discover how music and visual art can transcend su
 ffering\, preserve memory\, and connect communities across generations and

 ess departing from the Duluth Depot and travel north to Knife River\, MN\,
  for a traditional Scandinavian Julebyen Christmas Festival. Enjoy Scandin
 avian foods\, music and dancing\, and fun shopping for artisan gifts at ma
 ny of the colorful outdoor artisan huts. New exhibits are restored 1900s K
 nife River train depot and 35′ fish tug CRUSADER II in its new shelter. 
 See the Viking ship LEIF ERIKSON\, once an icon of Duluth and namesake for
  Leif Erikson Park\, now under restoration in its new shelter. \nUpon arri
 val in Knife River\, passengers deboard to wander all the displays\, shops
 \, and food all setup for the festival. Meanwhile\, the train reloads and 
 departs for several optional additional rides on the “Troll Train” whi
 ch is just $15 more\, with tickets sold at the Knife River Depot upon arri
 val. This is the same train\, but a short ride during the layover for a fu
 n additional ride to search for mischievous trolls from the warm train (mo
