 oss Wayne County. According to Feeding America’s 2023 Map the Meal Gap\,
  17.6% of Wayne County residents—nearly one in five people—experience 
 food insecurity. While these are the most recent available estimates\, ris
 ing grocery costs continue to put added financial strain on many household
 s. Limited transportation\, higher food prices\, and other economic barrie
 rs can make it difficult to access fresh\, healthy food. Nearly 70% of foo
 d-insecure Wayne County residents live in households with incomes below 20
 0% of the federal poverty level\, a rate higher than the Michigan average.
  The Well Wayne Fresh Truck Mobile Market is one strategy to help improve 
 access to affordable\, nutritious food in communities where it is needed m
 ost. The Fresh Truck Mobile Market is part of Well Wayne\, a multi-million
 -dollar investment in public health infrastructure led by Executive Evans 
 to improve health outcomes by addressing the social drivers of health thro
 ugh innovative\, community-based partnerships. “These are increasingly u
 ncertain times we are living in for a number of reasons\, which means it i
 s incumbent upon those of us who have chosen to be public servants to do w

  and accolades including the “Woody Herman Jazz Award”\, an award for 
 outstanding musicianship\, as well as the Louis Armstrong Scholarship. Due
  to Sean’s great talent both as a player and an educator\, he has been t
 he focus of countless news articles and jazz radio programs. \nThough stil
 l young by jazz standards\, Dobbins has amassed an impressive list of play
 ing companions. He has performed/toured/recorded with Johnny Basset\, Benn
 y Golson\, Dr. Lonnie Smith\, Frank Morgan\, Joey DeFrancesco\, George Cab
 les\, James “Blood” Ulmer\, Marcus Belgrave\, Larry Willis\, Rodney Wh
 ittaker\, Claude Black\, Johnny O’Neal\, Paul Keller\, Tad Weed\, Kurt K
 rahnke\, Jon Hendricks\, David “Fathead” Newman\, Donald Walden\, Cyru

 est be described as hard-driving\, solid rhythm with refreshing melodic se

 , Jeff “Tain” Watts\, Ed Thigpen\, Sonny Payne\, and also Detroit area
  greats Gerald Cleaver and the one and only Elvin Jones. A product of the 
 Ann Arbor Public Schools\, Sean has stayed devoted to education throughout
  his life. Early mentor Louis Smith\, an Ann Arbor Public Schools band tea
 cher\, impressed the importance of a good education upon Sean at an early 
 age. Sean is known in his community as a band director\, drum teacher and 
 positive influence for many.
