 brook Academy of Art who have built their practices in Detroit\, demonstra
 ting how art and design is actively shaping the city’s future. Presented
  as part of Detroit Month of Design 2026\, this open-studio initiative mov
 es beyond exhibition to reveal how artists and designers generate economic
  opportunities\, foster resilience\, and engage community through their wo
 rk. \nBy opening their studios\, participating alumni connect process to i
 mpact—creating pathways for income\, collaboration\, and visibility whil
 e advancing more sustainable\, inclusive models of creative practice. \nTh
 is event is free and open to the public. We strongly encourage attendees t
 o RSVP so that artists may plan accordingly at their respective studio loc

  and Cranbrook Art Museum’s signature fall fundraiser — an unforgettab
 le evening set on Cranbrook’s historic campus that brings together influ
 ential leaders across art\, design\, business\, and philanthropy. \nThis y
 ear’s event is inspired by the highly anticipated exhibition The World 
 of Anna Sui at Cranbrook Art Museum and will feature legendary fashion de
 signer Anna Sui as the evening’s Guest of Honor. A fashion icon with roo
 ts in metro Detroit\, Anna Sui revolutionized fashion in the 1990s with he
 r rock-and-roll romantic aesthetic and continues to influence generations 
 of artists and designers through her imaginative\, genre-defying work. Th
 e World of Anna Sui exhibition at Cranbrook Art Museum will showcase more
  than 100 looks spanning her celebrated career and explore the recurring t
 hemes and inspirations that have shaped her singular visual universe. \nTh
 e evening will begin with a pre-glow experience for upper-level sponsors\,
  followed by a cocktail reception throughout Cranbrook Art Museum’s gall
 eries for all gala guests. Guests will then enjoy a seated dinner and prog
 ram before transitioning into Art After Dark — a high-energy\, late-nigh
 t celebration featuring music\, craft cocktails\, desserts\, and artistic 
 experiences where attendees meet and mingle with Academy of Art students.
