 town Detroit Partnership is inviting families to the heart of the city Sun
 day\, Oct. 4\, for two free events featuring costumes\, games\, hands-on a
 ctivities\, trick-or-treating\, giveaways and more from 1–5 p.m. Campus 
 Kids Day: Lil’ Boo Bash presented by Corewell Health returns to transfor
 m Campus Martius Park with Halloween-themed activities and entertainment\,
  while the new Downtown Detroit Treat n’ Peek supported by Lake Michigan
  Credit Union (LMCU) extends the celebration to Cadillac Square and along 
 Woodward Avenue with a trick-or-treat adventure featuring dozens of downto
 wn businesses. Together\, the events offer two distinct ways to celebrate 
 Halloween in one visit\, from costumes\, games and kid-friendly programmin
 g at Campus Martius Park to collecting treats and discovering the shops\, 
 restaurants and businesses that make up Downtown Detroit’s growing busin
 ess community. Downtown Detroit Treat n’ Peek gives attendees an opportu
 nity to step inside\, meet the people behind the businesses and learn more
  about what they have to offer. “Bringing Lil’ Boo Bash and Treat n’
  Peek together gives families even more ways to experience Downtown Detroi
 t and celebrate Halloween\,” said Soula Burns\, vice president of fund d
 evelopment and partnerships for the Downtown Detroit Partnership. “Famil
 ies can enjoy all the activities at Campus Martius Park and Cadillac Squar
 e\, then make their way along Woodward Avenue to visit the businesses that
  help make downtown such a vibrant destination.” Campus Kids Day: Lil’
  Boo Bash presented by Corewell Health Campus Martius Park will come alive
  Campus Kids Day: Lil’ Boo Bash\, with guests encouraged to arrive in th
 eir favorite costumes for an afternoon of Halloween-themed entertainment a
 nd activities. Highlights include a 3 p.m. costume contest with categories
  ranging from Too Cute to Spook and Best Dressed Boo Crew to Crafty Costum
 e Creator\, a make + take craft presented by Metro Parent\, giveaways from
  Birdie’s Bookmobile\, lawn games and a giant pumpkin bounce house. Kids
  can also step into Detroit CHEMpreneurist’s Spooky Start-up Lab! Brew Y
 our Own Brand\, where they’ll create their own body scrub while explorin
 g chemistry\, creativity and entrepreneurship. Lil’ Boo Bash is part of 
 the Downtown Detroit Partnership’s signature Campus Kids Day series\, de
 signed to bring families together through fun\, wellness and learning in t

 y the Detroit Zoo\, the free series features themed\, interactive programm
 ing that encourages play\, learning and connection at Campus Martius Park.
  Downtown Detroit Treat n’ Peek supported by Lake Michigan Credit Union 
 Downtown Detroit Treat n’ Peek takes the Halloween celebration beyond Ca
 mpus Martius Park with a trick-or-treat adventure that also invites famili
 es to discover Downtown Detroit’s business community throughout Cadillac
  Square and along Woodward Avenue. Attendees can start in Cadillac Square\
 , where they can pick up a free Halloween-themed tote\, while supplies las
 t\, before making their way along Woodward Avenue from Campus Martius Park
  to John R. Participating businesses will welcome trick-or-treaters with t
 reats while opening their doors to the community. The growing lineup inclu
 des Avalon Café + Bakery\, Bonobos\, Born in Detroit\, Free People\, The 
 Lip Bar\, Nike Community Store\, Savage X Fenty\, Shinola\, Tecovas and Wa
 rby Parker\, among many others. Additional businesses represented in Cadil
 lac Square will include American Coney Island\, Bon Bon Bon\, Detroit City
  FC\, Hot Sam’s Detroit\, Lake Michigan Credit Union\, Painting With A T
