 u need to know: \nSeller’s Game List \nEvery seller needs to fill out a

 all seller’s. \nSubmit Your Seller Form + Game List \nGame Drop-Off: Wed
 nesday\, September 16 through Wednesday\, September 23\nDuring these dates
  you can drop off your used Board Games from during all open hours at the 
 Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe. The Rook Room is open from 4 PM to 10 PM Mon
 day through Thursday and 8 AM to 10 PM Friday through Sunday. \nWe will no
 t be accepting any games to sell outside of this window\, so please make s
 ure you get your games in during this time! \nYou must complete a seller
 ’s form before bringing in your games. \nPlease bring your games in a bo
 x\, tote\, or bag that we can return to you during the Pick-Up/Payout wind
 ow. Containers must be clearly labeled with your name.  \nWe will not be

 -Up Days: Saturday\, October 3 to Friday\, October 9\nDuring open hours at
  the Rook Room between October 3 and October 9 you can pick up any of your
  games that didn’t sell. You also have the option for us to donate your 
 leftover games to a local nonprofit. \nWe cannot wait to keep games out of

 ng puzzle swaps for years now and between requests for something similar f
 or games and talking with our counterparts across the country\, we knew th
 is would be a great fit to host in Des Moines. Who doesn’t love a garage
  sale?! \nWhen do I drop off my games again? Game drop off is Wednesday\, 
 September 16 through Wednesday\, September 23 during regular open hour at 
 the Rook Room. \nI am having an issue with the form\, what should I do? If
  you are having issues submitting to form that persist\, you can send a co
 py of your Game List directly to events@therookroom.com. You can find that
  template here. \nHow do I price my games? You will fill out the games pri
 cing sheet linked here and above. This helps our team keep track of your g
 ames to pay you and makes our set up run smoothly. It is up to you how to 
 price your games\, but our general recommendation is between 50-75% of mar
 ket value depending on the wear and quality of your game. \nCan I price my
  game above $30? We do allow you to do that. You will fill the price you w
 ant to sell your game for in the notes section of your Game List! Be caref
 ul\, though\, to price everything to sell if you want to see a return. \nW
 hat if I don’t want the games that don’t sell? We can donate your unso
 ld games to local nonprofits like The Beacon\, Senior Center\, and youth p
 rogramming! \nI don’t want the money from sales. Can I just donate my cu
 t? Yes\, you sure can. We’ll will use any profits to continue our missio
 n of providing an accessible\, community-oriented third place with great g
 ames\, food\, and drinks for the greater Des Moines area! \nHow do I get p
 aid? You will receive your payout after October 1 through Venmo. You will 
 provide your Venmo account on the google form. This is the only payment op
 tion we are offering for this Game Garage Sale. \nWhy am I only getting 60
 % of the sale price of my games? The Rook Room team is putting a lot of ti
 me and effort into making a great Game Garage sale for the community and h
 osting it in our space\, so we want to pay our people for their time and m
 ake sure we can continue to host exciting events like this for the communi

 your collective brain power with Geeks Who Drink Pub Quiz Trivia Night at 
 the Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe every Monday night\, starting at 7 PM. \n
 Trivia is played live and is hosted by one of our Geeks Who Drink Quiz Mas
 ters. The event lasts for roughly two hours and consists of 7 rounds of 8 
 questions\, including an audio round and a visual round. \nAnswers are sub
 mitted electronically through a website\, so make sure someone on your tea
 m has a phone\, tablet\, or even a computer to use during the game. Others
  are welcome to follow along on their own devices. Just make sure to charg
 e your batteries beforehand! \nIt’s free to play for your chance at priz
 es and bragging rights. No registration required. Teams of up to six playe
 rs per team are eligible to play and win. Teams of more than six are welco
 me to join\, but won’t be eligible for prizes\, so we recommend larger t
 eams consider splitting into two teams. \nTrivia nights will be held every
  Monday night at the same time and place – 7 PM at the Rook Room Game Lo
 unge & Cafe – so make plans to meet up with friends every week and make

 ay be looking for\, Rook Room Game League is locked and loaded for Season 
 1 of our very first competitive Board Gaming League. Our focus is fun and 
 friendly competitive play\, with plenty of opportunity for all levels of g
 amers.  \nIt’s Season 1 of Game League. You have two paths. Some of you
  will find three other team mates and sign up together. Others will sign u
 p solo and get paired with three new friends. No matter the path you choos
 e\, adventures await like never seen before at Rook Room Game Lounge & Caf
 e! \nTogether\, eight teams of four will enter the ring to compete in a fu
 n and friendly competitive circuit. One welcome event\, six sessions of ga
 meplay\, and one big celebration later\, you will have completed your firs
 t eight session Game League season! Teams that meet all qualifications of 
 completin g the Season will get a free commemorative pin\, invite to an ex
 clusive celebration party\, and the chance to win prizes! Look for the ful
 l FAQ on the Game League website for more rules and gameplay details. \n
 Each of the six sessions of gameplay\, players rotate between playing one 
 of four games. Season 1’s games are Azul\, Dominion\, Wingspan\, and Ti
 cket to Ride. Are you an expert in one or new to all four? Head to that F
 AQ on the Game League website to find out how your team can divide and c
 onquer the six sessions fairly (and what happens if someone can’t make a
  session!). \nWe encourage all kinds of gamers to join in on Game League w

 lepalooza\, is back for another round on at SingleSpeed Brewing \nCheck-in
  begins at 6:00 PM\, and the competition begins promptly at 6:30 PM. \nFor
  those who haven’t been before\, teams of up to four face off in a race 
 to be the first to complete their 500-piece puzzle. Sound easy? Don’t be
  deceived because the competition is stiff\, and we throw in just a little
  twist: the opportunity to sabotage the other teams. \nSingleSpeed has an 
 amazing menu full of tasty bites\, brews\, and non-alcoholic options – s
 o come hungry and thirsty! Once you finish your puzzle\, feel free to hang
  out and enjoy the vibe. \nReservations are required\, and space is limite
