DESCRIPTION:Door time: 6:30\nShow time: 7:30 \nJoin us for an evening of i
nspiring and captivating films handpicked from the Mountainfilm festival i
 n Telluride\, Colorado. \nFounded in 1979\, Mountainfilm is one of North A
merica’s longest-running documentary film festivals. The annual festival
is held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride\, CO. Mountainfilm is a d
ynamic nonprofit organization and festival that celebrates stories of indo
mitable spirit and aims to inspire audiences through film\, art\, and idea
 s. \nMountainfilm on Tour in Boulder will feature a collection of cultural
ly rich\, adventure-packed and inspiring documentary short films that alig
n with Mountainfilm’s mission to use the power of film\, art and ideas t
o inspire audiences to create a better world. A Mountainfilm presenter wil
l guide the audience through the program providing insight on the films\,
filmmakers and subjects. \n \nFilms:\n\nJAUNT\nIn a stark warehouse office
\, Justice is weighed down by mounting deadlines and an endless to-do list
. But every day for one hour\, he trades spreadsheets for speed and hits t
 he trails. It’s more than a break — it’s his therapy\, his freedom a
nd his daily dose of peace. \n\nPRESSURE DROP: VALDEZ SEGMENT\nFrom Norway
to Jackson Hole\, Pressure Drop follows the world’s top skiers and snow
boarders through deep powder\, huge cliffs and iconic lines. Born from a d
ream and forged on the edge\, this is TGR’s 30th annual film — a tribu
te to the fleeting moment when breath slows\, gravity takes over and every
thing else fades. \n\nRUN IN BEAUTY\nAlexandria Staten (Diné) grew up fee
ling distant from her roots on the Navajo Nation. Now\, as her grandmother
grows older\, she feels an urgency to reconnect. Through running the icon
ic Western States 100 mile Endurance Run\, Staten seeks belonging\, knowle
dge and to reclaim her culture by running in ceremony as a Diné woman. \n
\nFINDING FLOW\nFinding Flow follows Christopher Blevins as he navigates e
lite short-track mountain bike racing and the pursuit of flow. Blending co
mpetition with the natural world\, the film uses water as a metaphor for a
mbition and the nonlinear experience of racing at the highest level. \n\nH
AMM!\nMeet Lindsey Hamm: Texan “black sheep” who found her calling as
a mountain guide at 25\, dedicating her career to helping others achieve t
heir dreams. Alongside mentor and best friend\, climbing legend Katie Lamb
ert\, she heads to Yosemite Valley to tackle her first free-climbing proje
ct\, Dream Team. This climb isn’t about making history: it’s a pursuit
of self-expression. For Hamm\, Lambert is a mirror: someone who sees her
so clearly she can’t help but be her unabashed self. \n\nRIGHT TO RISK\n
Held in the Red River Gorge\, the Adaptive Climbers Festival is a rock cli
mbing event for climbers with disabilities\, forged on the premise that ev
eryone\, disability or not\, can become a climber. Three climbers share th
eir perspectives across the festival as they foster community\, climb hard
and embrace their fundamental right to risk. \n\nSTRATA\nShot on the Malt
ese island of Gozo\, Strata reconfigures the connection between skateboard
er and terrain. Taken out of its traditional urban context\, skateboarding
becomes a means of relating to one’s environment. Gozo’s tide-sculpte
d limestone waves and the coastline’s stark\, almost lunar geography bea
r an uncanny resemblance to human-built structures in skateparks and city
streets. \n\nGOOD LUCK\, KID\nTaylor Shaffer is an emerging photographer a
nd expedition cinematographer\, who joins Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell
on a 2\,500‑mile push into Alaska’s Tongass National Forest to attempt
an audacious climb. The film traces Shaffer’s uncertain leap from stude
nt to storyteller\, armed with a minimal kit and a restless curiosity. Goo
d Luck\, Kid asks what it takes to find a voice when everything is on the
line\, how risk tests character\, how collaboration remakes ambition and h
 ow a single trip can redefine a life’s direction. \n\nEVENING IN CHILE\n
An August trip provided as Colorado freeskier Bobby Brown and crew went so
uth for the first mission of the season. Between the villages of Valle Nev
ado and La Parva they were greeted with amazing conditions from a massive
storm. This is the highlight reel from five days of skiing in Chile. \n\nW
