 s 3-6 with their accompanying caregiver. \nAugust 11\, 2026: Birds of the
Prairie \nFlap\, soar and sing as we explore the birds that call the prair
ie home. Children learn about different bird parts like wings\, feathers\,
and beaks while discovering how birds fly and find food. The adventure co
ncludes with a wagon ride out onto the plains to see if we can spot birds
 in their natural habitat. \nAugust 25\, 2026: Bugs\, Bugs\, and Bugs! \nGe
t ready to crawl into the amazing world of bugs! Families explore inverteb
rates and other tiny prairie creatures through games\, hands-on exploratio
n\, and close-up looks at real specimens. Children discover how these smal
l but important animals live and help the prairie ecosystem. \nSeptember 8

textures. ! In this creative program\, children explore the prairie on a
nature scavenger hunt and learn simple art ideas like texture and symmetry
. Create unique works of art inspired by the prairie landscape using natur

nOctober 20\, 2026: Creepy Crawly Critters \nSome animals make people nerv
ous—but they’re important to the prairie. In this fun and friendly pro
gram\, families learn about spiders and snakes that live on the plains. Ch
ildren explore biofacts\, learn how these animals move and survive\, and d

. Children help prepare simple ingredients while discovering what cooking
was like long ago. \nDecember 1\, 2026: Winter on the Prairie \nWinter on
the prairie brings big changes for animals! In this seasonal program\, fam

ne\, how to create a tie out of fabric\, how to attach sleeves\, how to cr
eate clean and presentable clothing items.\n\nYou will likely not finish t
his garment during the class time. You will have a better chance to do so
if you cut out your pattern beforehand.\n\nTo better prepare\, please revi
ew this video guide beforehand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOkfQ5FvCM
w\n\nHere are the instructions:\n\nHere is the pattern:\n\nPlease note tha
t you will need to be at Denhac and connected to the wifi to download the
pattern. You can use the projector at 25% to correctly cut out these piece
s.\n\nNote that the pattern is drafted on someone who is 5'2" and you may
need to add length\, reach out in advance and we can meet to determine how
much to add. For reference\, my friend who is 5'10" had to add 7 inches t
o the front and back to get a full coverage jeogori but the jeogori is des
igned to be more of a cropped wrap shirt that comes to the waist rather th
an the hips for the women's design. It is designed to come to the hips for
  the men's design.
