DESCRIPTION:New in September: With the addition of the band saw to the tra
ining-required list\, we're breaking up the "General Woodshop Authorizatio
n Class" into two classes "Woodshop A" and "Woodshop B"\, and merging in b
andsaw and drum sander trainings. These classes cover different equipment
and do not build on each other\, so the order in which you take them does
not matter. We hope this new format will make classes shorter and more dig
estible.\n\nThis training will authorize you to use 3 major woodworking po
wer tools. This training is mandatory for all denhac members before you're
allowed to use these tools. Register for this training and complete your
homework before the class by reading the woodshop wiki page and all wood
shop tool wiki pages. This class takes ~3 hours depending on number of att
endees and experience. This class includes:\n\n Saw Stop table saw\n Pow
ermatic jointer\n Dewalt planer\n\nThe router table will not be covered i

denhac members only\, and at no additional charge.

DESCRIPTION:Deeper Prompting\, Real Projects & Building Your Organization
 ’s AI Practice\nWednesday\, September 9\, 2026 | 9:00 AM – Noon | Live
on Zoom \nDesigned for nonprofit professionals who have completed AI for
Grant Writing 101 and/or have a basic understanding of AI applications for
grant writing\, this 3-hour intermediate training picks up where the intr
oduction left off\, shifting from awareness to integration. Participants w
ill come prepared with a real project or scenario from their own organizat
ion to work on during the session. Together\, we’ll dig deeper into the
art and science of prompting and explore AI across a wider range of grant
cycle tasks (such as budget drafting\, reporting frameworks\, and tracking
systems). The session also introduces the concept of building an organiza
tional AI workflow\, moving from ad hoc use to intentional\, repeatable pr
actice\, and addresses key ethical and policy considerations specific to y
our organization. \nNote: Completion of AI for Grant Writing: 101 (Order H
ere) or equivalent foundational knowledge is a prerequisite for this sess
ion. \nTrainers: Katy Pepinsky (she/her)\, Hannah Max (she/her)\, Consulta

if you cut out your pattern beforehand.\n\nTo better prepare\, please revi
ew this video guide beforehand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOkfQ5FvCM
w\n\nHere are the instructions:\n\nHere is the pattern:\n\nPlease note tha
t you will need to be at Denhac and connected to the wifi to download the
pattern. You can use the projector at 25% to correctly cut out these piece
s.\n\nNote that the pattern is drafted on someone who is 5'2" and you may
need to add length\, reach out in advance and we can meet to determine how
much to add. For reference\, my friend who is 5'10" had to add 7 inches t
o the front and back to get a full coverage jeogori but the jeogori is des
igned to be more of a cropped wrap shirt that comes to the waist rather th
an the hips for the women's design. It is designed to come to the hips for
