Proceeds from the tournament directly benefit programs su ch as providing eye exams and glasses for children\, supporting local fami lies in need\, and assisting youth with disabilities through specialized s ummer camps. In addition\, funds help support organizations like Family Pr omise\, Master Key Ministries\, Texoma Exposition & Livestock Show\, and s cholarships at Grayson College.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe tournament will feature a four-person scramble format with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. Participants will enjoy a full day that includes green fees\, cart\, breakfast pastrie s\, lunch\, beverages\, and an awards ceremony. This incredible service project will bring Lions\, Leos\, local busin esses\, and community volunteers together for one mission — making sure no child sleeps on the floor.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event will take place at th e Lowe’s Outlet Store located at 3500 W Airport Fwy in Irving. Registrat ion and check-in begin at 8:00 a.m.\, with the bed build starting at 9:00 a.m. and expected to continue until approximately 1:00 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nN o special skills are needed to participate. Organizers stress that there i s a job for everyone\, and experienced leadership from Sleep in Heavenly P eace representatives will be on-site to guide volunteers throughout the pr oject. All materials and tools will be provided. Lions are encouraged to w ear their Lions vests so every club represented can be recognized during t his major district-wide service event.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn addition to volunte ers\, donations are also being requested. Clubs are encouraged to become a “500 Club Member” by donating enough to sponsor two beds at $250 each .
