DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the 90th anniversary of the New Deal (1933-1943)\,
  the exhibition New Deal Texas and the West features federally funded art 
 produced by American artists during the Great Depression (1929-1941) and c
 ollected by The Dallas Museum of Art.  Focusing especially on New Deal art
  produced in and about Texas\, the exhibition also includes images and obj
 ects of scenes and subjects in the Western states of New Mexico and Oklaho
 ma\, and work made across the nation in media ranging from murals and prin
 ts to sculptures and textiles.  This exhibition is organized by The Univer
 sity of Texas at Dallas in collaboration with The Dallas Museum of Art. On
  view at the Edith and Peter O'Donnell Jr. Athenaeum.\n\nAthenaeum hours:

 s no need for high-performance athletic wear—just something you feel goo
