 view. \nWhether you perform stand-up\, improv\, clown\, character work\, s
 torytelling\, or alternative comedy\, this workshop teaches you how to gen
 erate funny\, original material in real time. \nUsing Jeff Quintana’s S.
 P.E.C.S. framework (Specifics\, Physicality\, Emotion\, Context\, and Stat
 us)\, students will build comedy from a single idea\, creating memorable c
 haracters\, heightened versions of themselves\, improvised stand-up\, audi
 ence interaction\, and unique theatrical moments that feel spontaneous\, p
 ersonal\, and hilarious. \nThrough structured improvisation and creative p
 erformance exercises\, you’ll discover a repeatable process for creating
  comedy without relying on a finished script. Whether you’re developing 
 a solo show\, exploring a new character\, sharpening your comedic voice\, 
 or looking for a fresh creative process\, you’ll leave with practical to
 ols you can use immediately. \nThis workshop will focus on:\n\nCreating co
 medy from nothing\nBuilding memorable characters\nDiscovering heightened v
 ersions of yourself\nImprovised stand-up techniques\nUsing physical comedy
  and clown to create unforgettable performances\nAudience interaction and

 .S. framework to generate original comedy\n\nAbout the Instructor: \nJeff 
 Quintana is a comedian\, director\, educator\, and creator of The Circuit 
 Method and the S.P.E.C.S. Performance System\, developed through more than
  23 years of continuous performance\, teaching\, and research. He has trai
 ned with nearly every major school of American improvisation and has taugh
 t at The Annoyance Theatre\, iO Theater\, Home Comedy Theater\, Brooklyn C
 omedy Collective\, One Group Mind\, and The Playground Theater. Jeff headl
 ines nationally with The Powerful Hourful starring Antonio Quintana\, Moti
 vational Speaker\, an immersive avant-clown stand-up experience that blend
 s improvisation\, audience interaction\, and physical comedy into a one-of
 -a-kind live performance. \nThis is a three-hour workshop held Saturday\, 
 September 19 from 3pm to 6pm\, The instructor is visiting instructor Jeff 
 Quintana. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students mu

 ingual-friendly night of improv\, comunidad\, and a whole lot of laughs de
 signed to bring together Dallas’s Latine community and the Dallas comedy
  community at large. We start with a fun\, low-pressure one-hour drop-in i
 mprov class where experienced performers\, complete beginners\, English sp
 eakers\, Spanish speakers\, and everyone in between can meet\, play\, and 
 get comfortable together. Then it’s ¡a jugar! We’ll mix newcomers and
  experienced improvisers into teams to perform short\, fun long-form sets 
 for a live audience. Scenes can happen in English\, Spanish\, Spanglish or
  whatever combination inspires the performers in the moment. \n \nYou abso
 lutely do not need to speak Spanish to participate. If you’re fluent\, 
 ¡dale! If you know a little and want to practice\, perfecto. If the only 
 Spanish you remember is “¿Dónde está el baño?” you’re still invi
 ted. Whether you’re looking to try improv for the first time\, practice
