 is pleased to host Professor Jesse O'Hanley for a specialized training wor
 kshop on prioritizing fish-passage barrier mitigation and river restoratio
 n investments. The workshop is intended for fisheries professionals\, wate
 rshed councils\, consulting firms\, Tribal staff\, government agencies\, N
 GOs\, graduate students\, and restoration practitioners throughout the Pac
 ific Northwest and beyond.\n\n \n\nThis workshop introduces participants t
 o concepts and methods used to evaluate and prioritize fish passage improv
 ement opportunities. Attendees will learn about aquatic connectivity\, fis
 h passage barriers\, and a range of approaches for identifying restoration
  priorities. The workshop will also include an overview of decision-suppor
 t tools and analytical methods used to assess habitat access\, compare res
 toration scenarios\, and support planning efforts. Through demonstrations\
 , interactive activities\, and hands-on exercises using real-world example
 s\, participants will gain practical experience interpreting results and a

  a professor in the Biological and Ecological Engineering Department at Or
 egon State University. Her research emphasizes the sustainable engineering
  and management of rivers by examining the intersections of hydraulics\, i
