DESCRIPTION:The Blue Cats are veteran blues/rock/jazz musicians: Rick Co
llura (elec. guitar)\, Terry Finneran (keys\, vocals\, blues harp\, flute)
 \, Scott Bach (electric bass)\, and a selected percussionist (e.g. Shane W
illis\, Jerry Powell II\, Andre\, Louis Tsamous\, etc.).  This quartet un
ites to bring you energy intensive\, yet volume controlled original “blu
es-infused” arrangements of favorites from their musical hip pockets inc
 luding straight blues\, Traffic\, Clapton\, Dylan\, Santana\, Van Morrison
\, et al. Their experiences include extended support time with local favor

Allen\, Tom Carrol\, Hank Marr\, Dave Powers\, et al) as well as on stage
experience with a variety of national acts including James Brown\, Albert
 King\, Luther Allison\, Johnny Winter\, Tom Scott\, Leo Kotke\, Dane Donah
 ue\, etc.\, etc. \nSpecial Guest: Recording Artist Brad Hatfield\n \nSing
er\, songwriter and harmonica player Brad Hatfield is a Cincinnati\, Ohio
Blues artist. Born from the blood of a Blues man\, he’s been bathed in t
he Blues since birth. He picked up the guitar at the age of 10. At the age
of 25\, his triumph to tragedy story began. After being seriously injured
in a construction accident\, he was left paralyzed. \nBecause of the limi
ted use of his hands due to paralysis\, playing guitar was now a thing of
the past. After a lengthy rehabilitation to get the most out of his body a
nd mind\, he was in search of another instrument to channel his creative o
utlet. The harmonica became that instrument. Although he didn’t start pl
aying harmonica until his early 30’s\, he has now achieved a skill level
enviable of most lifelong blues harp players.  \nAdding to his skill set
\, and arguably more notable than his harp playing\, is his incredibly sou

DESCRIPTION:Tommy Prine’s debut album This Far South (June 2023) was not
  only a long-awaited introduction but a testimony to Prine’s 20s and the
loss\, love\, and growth that has defined them. Co-produced by a close fr
iend and kindred musical spirit\, Ruston Kelly\, and beloved Nashville eng
ineer and producer\, Gena Johnson\, the album is rich and dynamic from cat
hartic jams to nostalgic storytelling. Celebrating the album’s first yea
r\, Tommy released a deluxe version of the record on June 21\, 2024 – fe
aturing reimagined versions\, a special guest and a brand new song. \n“R
eleasing my debut album changed so much in my life. The only things that s
tayed the same were my family\, my pets\, and my friends. Everything else
changed drastically. I’ve had a few moments that felt like the point of
no return\, releasing the album being one of them. Not in a scary way\, ju
st in a way that there is no taking back art that you put out into the wor
ld. Once it has affected one other person\, it has already begun its own l
ife and will in turn change the creator’s life.” \nPrine is currently
crisscrossing the country headlining shows with his band and appearing at
 festivals including Green River\, Bristol Rhythm & Roots\, and Bourbon & B
eyond. This past year\, Prine opened for Jason Isbell and Tyler Childers\,
was named one of Amazon Music’s 2023 Breakthrough Artists to Watch and
wrapped up the year by making his Grand Ole Opry debut. \nTommy learned to
play guitar by watching his father\, mimicking the ways his fingers moved
\, he inadvertently developed his own singular style. Prine sonically brin
gs together a colorful patchwork of musical influences spanning Gillian We
lch\, Outkast\, Bon Iver\, the Strokes and more. Lyrically\, Tommy explore

DESCRIPTION:Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys  \nSince forming in 1988 in S
outhern California\, Big Sandy and His Fly Rite Boys have become one of th
e world’s most beloved Americana/ Roots acts\, drawing from the deep mus
ical waters that flow just  beneath the surface of Rock & Roll’s fertil
 e soil. A childhood passion  for Country\, Doo-Wop\, and Rhythm & Blues 4
5s led Sandy (born  Robert Williams) to pursue a singing career as a teen
ager\, beginning  a life in music that continues decades later. And as hi
s personal  record collection continues to grow (75\,000 and counting)\,
so does  the depth of the musical influences that stream through his  so
ngwriting and singing style. A critically acclaimed tribute to Tex Mex her
o Freddy Fender\, released at the beginning of the 2020  lockdown\, point
s the way forward for Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys  as they continue o
n a path of musical growth. After nearly 35 years on  the road\, and more
than two dozen releases to their credit\, they  remain key figures on th
e ever-changing Americana circuit\, both on  record and in live appearanc
 es. \nKyle Eldridge \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nKyle Eldridge is a
Country & Western singer songwriter from Louisville\, Kentucky and known a
s one of the most prominent guitar players in the traditional scene for hi
s Maphis/ Travis picking and Western Jazz styling. \nHe got his start play
ing in the south where he met Upright Bassist Dakota Collins who brought h
im to Nashville\, Tennessee. They began playing Honky Tonks on the famous
Broadway strip and soon after\, he recorded his debut EP in Los Angeles\,
California at Deke Dickerson’s studio. \nHe has played next to such arti
sts as Jim Heath of Reverend Horton Heat\, Shaun Young of High Noon\, Jody
  & Rose Lee Maphis\, The Lucky Stars\, Dale Watson\, Tommy Emmanuel\, and
many more.  Dubbed the “Heir Apparent” by Larry Collins of The Collin
s Kids fame\, Kyle Eldridge has been burning his way into the Country & We
stern scene and has quickly become in demand both domestically and abroad.

DESCRIPTION:About Colin Gawel… \n“I wrote my first song on the back of
a paper route book in 6th grade.” – Colin Gawel \nSoon after\, while
seeing a Cheap Trick concert\, I convinced my pal Joe Oestreich that we sh
ould start a band and get signed to Epic Records. Just like Cheap Trick di
 d. Watershed was born at that moment of the bus ride home from the show. O
nce we learned how to play\, we did get signed to Epic Records and do damn
near every single thing a rock n roll band can do. Except have a hit song
. It’s quite a tale.   \nIn fact\, you can read all about it in the be
st selling memoir “Hitless Wonder- A Life in Minor League Rock n Roll”
which was released in 2012 and National Public Radio called it one of the
two best books of the summer. It rose to #1 on the Amazon music book char
ts. (!) As of 2022\, Watershed is still recording and playing shows. \n I
n the meantime\, I also record and perform as a solo artist. Superior- The
Best of Colin Gawel is 17 seventeen song compilation of that work. And in
2018 I released the League Bowlers Some Balls Deluxe. The Bowlers play bo
ttom shelf versions of top shelf rock n roll\, both originals and tasty ba
 r room versions of the classics. (Cheap Trick\, CCR\, Petty\, Bruce\, Neil
Young and so on and so forth.. ) \nThursday Happening Hour shows are spon
sored by our proud partners Bank of America. \nRESERVATIONS are strongly e
ncouraged for our FREE Happening Hour Shows!
