DESCRIPTION:Hosted for Columbus Business Chamber members\, presented by Ev
elyn Retkofsky\, Founder of ICONUS. \n\n\n\nPositive Pay has been the stan
dard defense against check fraud for years\, and it still matters. But it
wasn’t built to catch every way a check can go wrong today\, especially
 checks that are intercepted\, altered\, and re-presented after they’ve a
lready been issued. \n\n\n\nJoin Evelyn Retkofsky\, a fraud investigator w
ith 15+ years of field experience\, for a practical session on where the g
aps in traditional check fraud defenses actually are\, and what a next-gen
eration approach to check verification looks like. \n\n\n\nYou’ll walk a
way understanding: \n\n\n\nWhy altered checks\, not forged ones\, account
for the bulk of real lossesWhere Positive Pay stops covering you\, and why
that gap gets exploitedWhat real-time check verification looks like in pr
actice\, and how ICONUS is building it \n\n\n\nThis session is for busines

then spend the majority of our time digging into new territory. \nYou’l

on LinkedIn right now. \nAttended Part 1? Come back. We’re building on i

worked for them stopped working faster than they could replace it. \nDrawi
ng on 25 years of research & 14 years as a mining executive\, Dr. Nadya Zh
exembayeva\, will reveal the new rule of the post-stability economy: the w
inners won’t be those who endure disruption. They’ll be the ones who h

rn disruption into profit — pulled straight from her forthcoming book\,
“The Reinvention Advantage: How to Survive and Monetize Volatility in a
World That Won’t Settle Down.” \nRegister now for this TIGER Talk to g

rubble of the collapsed Soviet Union taught her that volatility is normal
 — and that the people who know how to move when everything is in flux ar
e the ones who get to shape what comes next. \nShe has spent 25 years stud
ying why some organizations thrive in permanent disruption and others don

on Officer role\, she runs the biennial Global Reinvention Survey — the
world’s only longitudinal dataset tracking reinvention velocity. She spe
nt 14 years as a mining executive\, and since 2012 has served as a fractio
nal executive for Eurasian Resources Group (67\,000+ employees across Euro
 pe\, Asia\, and Africa). \nA former Coca-Cola Chaired Professor at IEDC-Bl

la\, IBM\, Cisco\, and L’Oréal\, and her work appears in Harvard Busine
