 n if you don’t want to carve a pumpkin because we’ll also have free ho
 t chocolate and live entertainment — like an Inflatable Costume Race! Of
 ficial race rules are listed below. \n  \n\nEligibility\n\n\nCostumes mus
 t be fully inflatable\, cover the entire body and be worn for the entire d
 uration of the race.\nAge categories for races will be: Under 10 years old
 \, 11-16 years old\, 17-40 years old\, 40 years up and older.\n\n\nCostume
  Requirements\n\n\nCostumes must be self-inflating using a battery-powered
  fan.\nNo sharp objects\, hard materials\, or accessories that could injur
 e others.\nCostumes must be family-friendly and appropriate for all audien
 ces.\n\n\nRace Format\n\n\nThe race distance will be determined by the Cit
 y of Hurricane. Anticipated distance is 100-yard dash.\nParticipants must 
 start behind the designated start line.\nRunning\, jogging or fast walking
  is permitted\; crawling or sliding is not allowed.\nIf a costume deflates
  during the race\, the participant may continue but must not remove the c
 ostume.\n\n\nSafety Rules\n\n\nNo pushing\, tripping or intentional contac
 t with other racers.\nParticipants must follow all instructions from race 
 officials.\nIf a participant falls\, others must avoid contact and continu
