DESCRIPTION:Cordovas \nw/ The Band Honey\nSaturday September 5th\, 2026\n
 Charleston Pour House | Deck Stage\n5pm doors / 6pm show / 2 x sets\n$10 a
dvance /$12 day of show  \nCordovas\nCordovas are an Americana rock band
out of Nashville whose sound\, equal parts soulful harmony\, poetic craft\
, and cosmic improvisation\, has long earned comparisons to The Band\, Gra
teful Dead\, and Crosby\, Stills & Nash. But with their fifth studio album
\, Back to Life (out January 30\, 2026\, on Yep Roc Records)\, the group s
harpens the edges of its identity: roadtested\, deeply traditional in the
ways that matter\, and determined to be respected on its own terms. The ba
nd’s heartbeat lies between two places. In Todos Santos\, Mexico\, where
Cordovas have lived\, written\, and built a small community of artists\,
the songs take shape in their most relaxed state\, often amongst a circle
of friends. Then it’s back to Nashville\, where rehearsal\, touring\, an
d recording hammer those ideas into their final form. This cycle has defin
ed the last three years of work\, producing songs that are both varied and
cohesive\, each one revealing another side of the band’s range. At the
center of Cordovas are songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Joe Firstman a
nd guitarist/vocalist Lucca Soria\, partners in what they call a “musica
l friendship.” The new record is a testament to their growth not just as
musicians but as people. “I’m extremely blessed\,” Firstman says.
“Everywhere I look is love\, and I set it up that way. My whole life is
designed around art\, not around bills or phone calls. Everything is based
on love and enthusiasm\, and it radiates from there.” Soria frames it d
ifferently but with the same spirit of devotion: “People are at service
to us\, and we are at service to them. I am incentivized to do my best all
of the time in the service of others. In Mexico\, it’s also a community
. Everyone has a role\, and I want to do the best I can for the community.
” That philosophy is embodied in the band’s communal compound in Todos
Santos. Over the years\, Cordovas have acquired five houses there—each
designed by Firstman\, each tailored to the people who live or pass throug
h them. More than just residences\, they function as creative havens: a sp
ace where friends\, collaborators\, and fellow travelers are invited in to
write songs\, make demos\, stage impromptu shows\, or simply live alongsi
de the band in a shared rhythm of art and life. It’s not a retreat from
the world but a way of reshaping it—an intentional community built aroun
d the belief that music thrives when it’s lived in\, day after day\, wit
h others. \n\nThe Band Honey \nThe Band Honey\, made up of Wilson Gore (vo
cals/rhythm guitar)\, Curry Jones (lead guitar)\, Jack Andrews (bass)\, an
d Liam Spokes (vocals/drums)\, formed out of a shared love of creating mus
ic for and with people. Taking inspiration from 80s staples such as Tears
for Fears and new beach-rock mainstays like Ocean Alley\, they blend nosta
lgic guitars with soul-like groove and contemplative lyrics. \nSince their
debut single\, “Still Got Time”\, the band has consistently grown\, p
laying shows year-round. Releasing their most recent single\, “Tongue Ti
ed”\, on March 28th\, the band is looking forward to a show-filled summe
r culminating in the release of their first EP in early August. \n\n*By pu
rchasing a ticket\, you agree to receive emails from ARTIST and PROMOTER.
\n* Show is 18+.  Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a
parent or guardian. Attendees under 21 will be subject to a $5 surcharge.
The surcharge must be paid in cash at the door on the day of the event.

e to Pink Floyd\nThe Atlanta-based band has become increasingly popular in
the Southeast over the past few years\, and it’s largely because of the
ir devotion to recreating the Pink Floyd concert experience\, not just the
songs. The band has a stellar laser light show just like Floyd used to\,

, and influence allows the band to perform a synthesis of styles creating
a unique musical expression. \nThe Dr. Bacon live experience is truly a sp
ectacle to behold\, bringing the audience on a musical journey\, caressing
ears with lush beauty then whipping crowds into a down-home tribal romp\,
shaking booties and shedding inhibitions. An undulating wave of energy an
d styles leads to massive and manic versatility ensuring that no matter wh
at genre of music suits your taste\, you will hear something that resonate
 s. Bacon goes good with everything! \nDr. Bacon started in 2012 on King St
reet in Boone as a 3 piece busking acoustic bluegrass\, folk\, and 90s pop
/rock/hip-hop influenced band. Several lineup changes over the years and a
move to Asheville have refined and redirected the bands sound\, incorpora

orld music. The blending of several elements of these genres\, often withi
n the same song\, along with an arsenal of instrumentation brings the real
Dr. Bacon flavor. The band tours regularly\, up and down the East coast a

 n$25 Advanced / $30 Day of Show \nRobert Lester Folsom\nSunshine Only Some
times: Archives Vol. 2\, 1972–1975 continues Anthology Recordings’ exc
 avation\, and exploration\, of southern singer\, songwriter\, and psychede
lic serviceman Robert Lester Folsom’s bountiful archives. Recorded acros
 s Georgia in various bedrooms\, a barn\, and a motel room with a reel-to-r
eel and a revolving cast of whip smart studio musicians in the first half
of a dazed and confused decade\, Sunshine Only Sometimes furthers Folsom
’s place in the canon of long lost but eventually found independently sp
 irited\, high-flying American folk rock. \nWhen Anthology’s reissue of M
usic and Dreams\, the sole contemporaneous album released in 1976 by Folso
m\, surfaced in 2010\, little else was known of Folsom’s nearly five-dec
ade deep archive of unreleased demos and fully formed studio recordings. B
 orn and raised in Adel\, Georgia—both then\, and now\, a sleepy hamlet w
ith a population of less than 5\,000—Folsom was fortunate to be minded a
fter extremely supportive parents. Exhibiting a precocious affinity for mu
sic\, things went widescreen when he observed the same ferry from ‘cross
the Mersey as many others of his generation\, carrying the four musical m
optops to their paradigm shifting appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. Soon
thereafter\, Folsom began religiously absorbing every morsel of musical o
utput The Fab Four offered\, as well as that of their contemporaries. Yet\
, it wasn’t long before observation transformed into a motivation to cre
ate. Even a children’s record player bought by his parents as a gift to
him was traded off to a neighborhood friend for a stringless\, disheveled
guitar (which Folsom’s father shined to prime and function for him in sh
ort order). As time went on\, Folsom’s innate drive and field of vision
broadened\; he began enlisting neighborhood friends\, classmates\, and fam
ily members to fulfill his small-scale musical dreams\, which would increa
se in weight with the passage of days. \nOver the next several years\, whi
le employing ingenious\, home brewed over-dubbing techniques with his “l
 ove at first sight\,” a Sears 3440 two-track reel-to-reel tape recorder\
, Folsom served as the de facto producer/arranger for any and all scrappy
garage band or aspiring singer songwriter in the radius of Adel. Abetted b
y his mobile recording unit\, across a number of unusual locations\, and a
ssisted by guitarist and collaborator Hans VanBrackle\, this period produc
ed the bounty of Folsom’s self-penned compositions which make up Ode to
a Rainy Day and Sunshine Only Sometimes. And eventually\, this period of w
oodshedding led to the formation of his rural-tinged\, progressive\, south
ern rock outfit Abacus. Though carrying Folsom’s own singular sound and
vision\, Music and Dreams\, in equal measure\, chartered the seas of smoot
h West Coast AOR before the yachts to come\, while tracing the distinctly
Californian sound of Laurel Canyon singer-songwriter soft rock Americana\,
which tussled on the waters before the large vessels overtook the big blu
 e. Folsom’s earlier compositions found on Sunshine Only Sometimes reflec
 t a darker-hued mixture of mellow folk\, downer vibes\, and rural tones\,
revealing his talent for melody and hook was intact far before Music and D
reams\, with a keen sense of introspection making the dark and light equal
ly resonant. Sunshine Only Sometimes offers up another sterling set of ton
ally-shifting\, sub-underground\, alternate timeline classic rock. The C&W
-influenced\, sprightly-pop of George Harrison—whose Dark Horse Records
is one of a handful of record companies Folsom and VanBrackle submitted de
mos to—is invoked in the uber-melodic “Ease My Mind.” “Julie” br
ings to mind Nixon-era ragged ‘n’ ramshackled country-blues from the G
 limmer Twins’ pen\, and the semi-acoustic\, heavily-flanged\, out-of-tim
e psych-pop of “Lonely Lovers” sits somewhere between a forward-lookin
g glimpse at Music and Dreams and a demo from a would-be Cosmic American M
usic king. \nUnlike similar iconoclasts with crystal vision who held forth
with the oppressive thumb of a musical dictator\, Folsom was ever in serv
ice of song\, standing equally aside his collaborators\, which uniformly e
ngendered affinity and respect lasting to this day. While a tick higher th
an the second-tier\, the mountaintop was always narrowly out his grasp. Th
ough\, with the right set of opportunities\, bolstered by talent and drive
 \, Folsom\, if not as a stand-alone\, star-quality artist\, could have led
the career of any number of songwriters behind the curtain who rode the m
agical musical continuum across the decades with faceless success. Perhaps
it was Robert and company’s playing “weird spacey stuff and ballads\,
” as guitarist VanBrackle describes\, in small town Georgia skating rink
 s\, bowling alleys\, and school dances expecting Top 40 dance-ready hits w
hich held them down. Perhaps it was simply location. Though\, the music of
Sunshine Only Sometimes is composed of an intrinsic ability to hear the m
usic truly playing\, as opposed to the space in air heard by the lay-ear\,
which places Folsom’s music in a timeless space primed for perennial (r
 e)discovery. \n\nOscar Lindsey\nBorn and raised in Nashville\, Tennessee t
o a deeply rooted musical family\, songwriting quickly became Oscar Lindse
 y’s second nature. His self-released 2025 LP\, Glitter\, allows influenc
es such as Elliott Smith and Alex G to shine through sonically while provi
ding a wholly original experience to listeners via personal anecdotes and
storytelling. Highlight tracks like “Forever’s Such A Long Time” and
“Ruby” take the intangibles of the coming-of-age experience and neatl
y pack them into a single sucker punch. At 24\, Oscar has solidified himse
lf as a songsmith through and through\, making introspective folk music fe
el accessible to the everyday listener\, creating his own world within the
songwriting that draws fans in through its soul-bearing and identifiable
qualities. \n\n*By purchasing a ticket\, you agree to receive emails from

DESCRIPTION:Cosmic Charlie\nHigh- Energy Grateful Dead\nSaturday\, Septemb
 er 12\, 2026\nCharleston Pour House | Main stage \n8pm doors / 9pm show
 \n2 x sets\n$20 advance / $25 day of show  \nCosmic Charlie\nCosmic Charl
ie was born in the musical Mecca of Athens\, Georgia. From its summer 1999
inception\, the band swiftly cemented its reputation as a band that puts
a unique and personal twist on the Grateful Dead catalogue. Cosmic Charlie
is a Dead cover band for folks that are ambivalent about Dead cover bands
. \nRather than mimicking the Dead exactly\, Cosmic Charlie chooses to tap
into the Dead’s energy and style as a foundation on which to build. The
result is healthy balance of creativity and tradition\, where both the ba
nd and its audience are taken to that familiar edge with the sense that\,
music is actually being MADE here tonight. \nMoving and shaking even the m
ost skeptical of Deadheads\, Cosmic Charlie storms into a town and plays w
ith an energy that eludes other bands\, an energy that sometimes eluded th
e Dead themselves. Those precious moments during Dead jams when the synchr
onicity is there and all is right with the world –  these are the momen
ts that Cosmic Charlie relishes and feverishly welcomes with open arms. Cl
early\, Cosmic Charlie’s audiences are also eager to partake in these mo
ments\, and together with the band\, they have indulged in many memorable
evenings. \nMost nights\, Cosmic Charlie walks onstage without a setlist\,
not even knowing what the first song will be. Any Dead tune can rear its
head at any moment\, and fan requests are always welcome. “INSPIRATON\,
MOVE ME BRIGHTLY” is Cosmic Charlie’s mantra\, allowing the music to t
ruly play the band. \n\n*By purchasing a ticket\, you agree to receive ema
ils from ARTIST and PROMOTER. \n*Show is 21+. No Exceptions!

DESCRIPTION:Goodnight\, Texas\nw/ Ari Z\nThursday\, September 17\, 2026\nC
harleston Pour House | Deck Stage \n5pm doors / 6pm show  \n$18 advance
 / $20 day of show  \nGoodnight\, Texas\nGoodnight\, Texas is a band you
’ve heard somewhere. You’re going through their catalog\, hearing lyri
cs about trapped coal miners and lovebird bank robbers. Banjos and mandoli
ns\, genre tough to pin down. Now you’re interested\, so you go see them
live. The show is swelling to a fever pitch\, and suddenly they’re sing
ing devastating harmonies off mic\, then rocking again\, full tilt. Afterw
ard you venture over to merch\, and you’re curious about their new album
Signals\, since they did some of the new songs. You investigate in headph
ones and indeed\, the album kicks. The first single\, “RUNAWAYS\,” eve
n features a guest solo from Metallica’s Kirk Hammett\, who admired the
band’s version of “Of Wolf and Man” on the 2022 covers album The Met
 allica Blacklist. Beyond the memorable sock-you-in-the-face riffs\, GN\, T
X seems to be stretching sonic roots deeper in every direction on Signals\
, with studio help from Oakland’s Ian and Jay Pellicci (Deerhoof\, Tune-
Yards). Stories of the Americana of yore blend into the near past and pres
ent via tales of DB Cooper and North Dakota oil field workers. Electric gu
itars pound like hammers\, but the mandolins still twinkle like dim stars.
Googling\, you find recent features in NME\, Rolling Stone\, No Depressio
n and Consequence of Sound\, and appearances at festivals such as Austin C
ity Limits\, SXSW\, Red Wing Roots\, Old Settlers Festival and Beachlife R
anch. They’ve toured with acts such as The Dead South\, Larkin Poe\, Sha
key Graves\, Trampled by Turtles\, The Brothers Comatose\, and John Craigi
 e. In 2020\, their song “The Railroad” was the opening montage theme f
or episode one of Tiger King\, which had 53 million streams in its first w
eek. Maybe that’s where you heard them in the first place. Or maybe it w
as the Coors Banquet commercial with Sam Elliott. Wait a minute\, they hav
e 250 million streams across platforms. Maybe you heard them in your favor
ite bar\, or your friend’s car. Still at the merch table at last call\,
you learn: Goodnight\, Texas is named for an actual hamlet of 27 people an
d dozens of dogs\, the exact mile-for-mile midpoint between co-founders Av
i Vinocur and Patrick Dyer Wolf’s homes on each coast. They’ve been th
ere a bunch of times\, most recently to play a show for everybody who was
around\, and to hand out copies of the new album. \n\nAri Z\nARI Z is a Ch
arleston\, South Carolina-based artist and songwriter crafting honest\, em
otionally driven music built around lyrics and melodies that speak to the
soul. Ever since he first picked up a guitar\, he’s been turning the son
gs in his head into something real—using music to make sense of the high
 s\, lows\, heartbreak\, and everything in between. \nFor ARI Z\, music has
always been more than a creative outlet. It’s a lifeline—a universal
language that connects us through the things we sometimes struggle to put
into words. His songs are personal\, vulnerable\, and rooted in the belief
that the best music makes you feel something. \nHis album Ghost of You
is available now on all major streaming platforms\, with a brand-new full-
length album on the way. \n\n*By purchasing a ticket\, you agree to receiv
e emails from ARTIST and PROMOTER. \n* Show is 18+.  Attendees under the
age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Attendees under 21
will be subject to a $5 surcharge. The surcharge must be paid in cash at t

DESCRIPTION:Jerry Joseph\nThursday\, September 24\, 2026 \nCharleston Pour
  House | Main Stage \nDoors 7:30PM / Show 8:30PM \n$20 Advanced / $20 Day
of Show \nJerry Joseph\nJerry Joseph is a musician who lives in Portland O
regon\, but he’s often gone. He’s been inducted into the Oregon Music
Hall of Fame but is still rather obscure to a lot of people. He plays well
over 150 shows a year in the usual places. Across America. Sometimes in E
urope\, Mexico\, and Central America. Then there’s these other places he
  plays—Lebanon\, Israel\, Kurdish Iraq\, India\, and Afghanistan. All ov
er the Middle East\, often in war zones and refugee camps. \nIn addition t
o his touring\, Jerry has set up a non-profit called Nomad Music Foundatio
n that acts as a sort of School of Rock for displaced teenagers in areas o
f conflict. So far\, he has taken guitars and taught lessons in camps in K
abul\, Afghanistan\, and Sulaymaniyah and Dahuk\, both in Kurdish Iraq. Th
ese life-changing missions have been written up in Rolling Stone\, Relix\,
and PBS News Hour. \nOh yeah\, and he’s really fucking great. \nA tripl
e threat—someone who works at the highest levels as a songwriter\, singe
r\, and player. Jason Isbell\, who kinda personifies such\, recently tweet
ed about triple threats and listed Jerry Joseph (along with Richard Thomps
on and St. Vincent) among the greatest examples of that phenomenon. \nMost
likely\, if you know who Jerry is\, you agree\, but there’s also a big
chance that you don’t. His talent\, drive\, work ethic\, amazing body of
work\, and flat out badass-ness make him one of the most underrated and t
ragically overlooked artists alive today. He deserves better\, and I’m h
oping to help shine a light on who and what Jerry Joseph is and why you sh
ould listen to what he’s doing and saying. \nFirst off\, there’s the b
ody of work. Jerry Joseph has been playing shows and making records since
the 80s\, first in a band called Little Women that at one point looked des
tined to be huge\, but this is a crazy business and sometimes things just
don’t go as planned. By the 90s Jerry was struggling with addiction whil
e also creating the beginnings of a vast body of work as a solo artist and
burning up the road backed by a mighty band called The Jackmormons. They
built a considerable following in the great Northwest. Many of Jerry’s s
ongs were recorded by the band Widespread Panic\, and there are many peopl
e who know of Jerry through that connection. Later\, after getting clean\,
Jerry toured and made some albums as part of Stockholm Syndrome\, a sort
of supergroup he formed with Panic bassist David Schools\, who himself is
an incredible musician. Much of Jerry’s following in the so-called jam b
and circles is through his affiliation with these bands. \nMusical taste i
s a funny thing. People who are into one or another genre of music often d
on’t pay much attention to musicians who fall outside of those forms. Th
e age of streaming and the internet have broadened things considerably\, b
ut there is still a form of segregation that occurs across various boundar
ies\, often accompanied by derision for stylistic forms outside certain ci
rcles. I have spent much of my life rebelling against this way of listenin
g\, while sometimes still being as guilty as anyone about this exact thing
. I’ve always been drawn to songwriters and the writerly aspects of musi
c\, and with some glaring exceptions\, there has always been a disconnect
between the so-called jam music scene and the so-called singer/songwriter
genre. The fact that Jerry is a writer’s writer who has been mostly know
n in “jammy” circles has always made him somewhat an anomaly. \nI have
also always been partial to punk rock\, yet there has always been a wall
separating punk bands from jam bands\, even though Black Flag\, The Nation
al\, Sonic Youth\, and many of the legendary punk bands through the years
have always proclaimed themselves massive Grateful Dead fans. I know Jerry
Joseph to be a die-hard fan of all kinds of music across many genres\, an
d there have been seeds of those many genres in most of his many records.
Underneath it all\, to me\, he’s always been a punk rocker at the core.
\nJerry\, to me is a cult figure who could\, in some alternate reality\, h
ave easily been one of the biggest stars in the world. One of the greatest
live performers I have ever seen and long one of my favorite songwriters.
I can’t hear the chorus of San Acacia without picturing Jerry singing i
t in front of 100\,000 screaming fans\, in a soccer stadium in Brazil. In
the pouring rain. With everyone singing along. \n– Patterson Hood \n\n*B

ay of show \nReedy River String Band\nLike the river flowing through thei
r hometown of Greenville\, South Carolina\, Reedy River String Band carves
a lively channel through progressive newgrass\, just downstream from the
headwaters of traditional bluegrass. On the heels of their second European
tour\, the band flew home to a run of US shows and festivals\, returning
to the Earl Scruggs Music Festival and debuting at the Bristol Rhythm & Ro
ots Reunion in support of their new full-length release\, Woodland Drifter
 s. \nThe new release boasts 14 songs: 13 originals and a surprising take o
n Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb.” All three members—Sterling Wait
e (multi-instrumentalist)\, Rush Morgan (guitar)\, and Mark Dye (upright b
ass)—contribute as songwriters and lead singers. Acoustic masters\, like
IBMA-winner Scott Vestal (banjo)\, Zach Carter (banjo)\, and Adam Bachman
(dobro)\, lend their talents to expand the core trio’s sonic palette an
d directional stylings. These guest musicians further elevate Woodland Dri
 fters into a spirited\, genre-blending release spotlighting the foot-stomp
ing\, good-time festival vibes Reedy River String Band is known for. \nThe
band is planning a third European tour in June 2026 and a run of shows in
Colorado in October. Reedy River String Band is looking forward to contin
