  built in partnership with the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department l
 ocated at Chauncey Swan Park. Regular Screenings between May and October h
 ighlight a diversity of all ages programming. \nFilmScene in the Park is p
 resented by Dr. Suzanne Stock\, Orthodontist\, and serves the goals of bot
 h FilmScene and Iowa City Parks & Recreation by providing free cultural ac
 tivities to thousands of citizens annually. Our park cinema was made possi
 ble in 2021 by the transformative Strengthen Grow Evolve campaign\, a coll
 aboration with The Englert Theatre\, and The City of Iowa City’s Annual 
 Park Improvement and Economic Development funds. \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nTI
 CKETS\nAdmission to FilmScene in the Park is free and open to the public. 
 Seating is first-come-first-served for all screenings\, with movies typica
 lly beginning at sunset. We encourage moviegoers to bring their own blanke
 ts and chairs\, or purchase a commemorative blanket from us. \nConcessions
 \nFilmScene offers popcorn\, movie candy\, soda\, beer and wine for sale a
 t our outdoor concession stand beginning 30 minutes prior to the film’s 
 start time. Beer and wine can only be purchased in closed containers from 
 FilmScene for consumption in the park. No outside alcohol is allowed. An
 yone consuming alcohol must present a valid identification certifying they
  are 21 years of age or older to receive a wristband allowing purchase and
  consumption in the park. \nHailed as one of the finest films ever made\, 
 Jules and Jim charts\, over twenty-five years\, the relationship between t
 wo friends and the object of their mutual obsession.

 ew land. It features the personal stories of recent\, as well as older imm

 nly immigrant Mayor\, to its pioneering free thinkers\, labor activists\, 
 artists\, athletes and humanitarian women – the Czechs made their mark i

 tivals and universities across the U.S. and abroad. Her recent film\, ‘A
  Home in the Heartland: Czechs in Chicago’ tells the compelling stories 
 of the Czech immigrant experience in Chicagoland. \nLaurence Jacobs\, Prod
 ucer / Editor\, has an extensive background as an Editor and Producer that
  spans the areas of television\, documentary film\, and trailers. He is th
 e winner of an Emmy Award as editor on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Jacobs was 
 honored at the Chicago International Film Festival with the Silver Hugo Aw
 ard for producing and directing best short film “Late Curtain”. Among
