The first exhibit to be displayed in the new spa ce on the 2nd Floor will be Science + You\, which offers a child-sized lab oratory where children can explore how scientists impact health and wellne ss. \n\n\n\nThrough hands-on\, interactive machinery\, processes and tech nology\, Science + You demonstrates the role science plays in keeping the body healthy. A demonstration area of the exhibit also will allow visitin g scientists and educators to perform fun and interactive scientific exper iments appropriate for young children. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe exhibit was cre ated by Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago\, located in Glenview\ , Illinois\, working with scientists from Abbott Laboratories. Since its d ebut there in 2011\, the exhibit has traveled to museums in Washington\, D .C. and San Francisco\, as well as internationally to Germany and Brazil. \n\n\n\nScience + You will be on display September 26\, 2026 through Janua ry 9\, 2027.
