DESCRIPTION:Join us for a delicious adventure where stories come to life! 
 In this class\, preschoolers will enjoy a favorite children’s book each 
 week and then create a themed recipe inspired by the story\, blending lite
 racy\, creativity\, and hands-on learning.  \nThrough cooking and baking a
 ctivities\, children will build early literacy and vocabulary skills while
  developing fine motor abilities\, exploring early math and science concep
 ts\, and engaging in sensory-rich STEAM experiences. They will also streng
 then social-emotional skills by following directions\, taking turns\, work
 ing cooperatively\, and gaining confidence through age-appropriate kitchen
  responsibilities.  \nAlong the way\, children will be introduced to healt
 hy foods and nutrition while discovering the joy of trying new ingredients
 .  \nEach class includes story time\, a themed cooking activity\, and a re
 cipe to take home\, leaving little chefs with new skills\, favorite books\
 , and a lasting love of learning through reading and cooking.  \nELC child
 ren will be escorted to and from their classroom by ELC staff to enjoy the
 ir enrichment class.  \nIf your child needs specific accommodations or if
