 p! All skill levels are welcome\, and you’ll need to bring your own mate
 rials. FREE of charge! \nWednesday Night Live Drawing Sessions: September 
 16th\, 23rd & 30th\, 6:30-8:30pm\nOur weekly Life Drawing Sessions offer a
 rtists the opportunity to draw from a live model in non-instructionals ses
 sions facilitated by Claudia Mathews. The model will pose in several posit
 ions for both short and long poses. Artists should bring their own materia
 ls. Sessions are in the Hartson Gallery\, which is only accessible by stai

 Intro to Spoon Carving with Eric Goodson: Saturday\, September 19th\, 9am-
 4pm\nLearn about wood selection\, grain orientation\, spoon design\, ergon
 omics and a wide variety of knife grips that make carving fast\, efficient
  & safe. Eric will discuss finishing oils\, paint & decorative techniques.
  Loaner tools will be available\, or students can bring their own carving 
 tools. No experience necessary. $95 for NAA Members/$125 for Non-Members \
 nArtist Talk: The Unlaunched Cartooning Career of John Updike\, September 
 26th\, 6-8pm\nJoin Michael Updike to talk about his father’s cartoons an
 d him becoming a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist. FREE to NAA Mem
 bers/$10 for Non-Members. Registration required. \nGallery Hours: Wednesda
