DESCRIPTION:Internationally acclaimed photographer Rodrigo Valenzuela will
  be giving a talk on his art practice at 5 PM on September 21\, in the Int
 eractive Learning Center (ILC) 118. Valenzuela has received a Guggenheim F
 ellowship\, a Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship\, the Joan Mitchell A
 ward\, among others. Recent solo exhibitions include the New Museum\, NY\,
  Lisa Kandlhofer Galerie\, Vienna\, and the Frye Art Museum\, Seattle. His
  visit is hosted by the Visiting Artist and Scholar Program in the Departm
 ent of Art\, Design\, and Visual Studies. Reception follows the talk in th
 e Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) Atrium.
