 xpect**\nIn this experiential half-day program\, we'll be:\n\n* Going for 
 a walk to look at the oaks and learning how to identify common oak species
  in the area\n* Having a hands-on experience processing bay nuts and acorn
 s into tasty treats\, including shelling\, winnowing\, leaching\, and more
 \n* Learning how to sustainably harvest\, dry\, and store acorns\, and how
  to roast bay nuts and turn them into yummy treats\n* Tasting and making d
 elicious acorn porridge and hummus\n* Sharing a history of acorn use aroun
 d the world\, including NorCal\n* Integrating community building and embod
 iment practices throughout our time together\n\nThis class is offered on 4
  dates (not a series):\n\n* **Sun\, Sept 20th** 5-8pm - near Berkeley\n* *
